'27 TRX Info Slides via MARK DODGE

The information I posted earlier today was not from tea leaves or “insiders”…it was from a Ram dealer announcing he will have TRX allocation numbers next month. He was pushing April 1500 sales to get more TRX allocation. Check out the RHO site. It looks just like this site.

Now, after the initial allocations are filled, I’m guessing sold orders will open. But, that’s just a guess.
Orrrr playing devils advocate… was he simply “pushing April 1500 sales” due to simply wanting to push sales.
This was just the perfect excuse?

I wasn’t replying to you, nor was I asking about anything allocation-related. Everything we’ve seen online here or anywhere states that there is the possibility of the 2027 TRX being allocation-based. And I know what the RHO forum looks like.

I was specifically asking for opinions regarding all the guesswork we have to do about the ordering timeline.

From a utopian viewpoint, we get to order in “March or April” according to all the online anecdotal reports. I wonder how based in any kind of fact that is, or if the truck will follow any kind of historical ordering precedent.

I, nor anyone else I have seen on this forum, argues the point that dealers will get allocation numbers in May, based on 1500 sales for the months of February, March, and April. That’s pretty old news.

@Two are you considering a 2027? I’m on the fence between a 2027 and buying more extended warranty. I have 53,000 miles on my TRX and it’s been pretty fantastic.
You nailed it , I have a 24 with 10k miles and I have done a lot of cosmetic add ones myself. The Rex is runs great with only a S&B CIA

I agree with you ..I have ,'24 with 10 k ml on it. I have added a lot of cosmetic upgrades to the inside and outside of the truck. I added the 3-in Ebach front springs and Installed the S&B CAI and the trucks runs great.I launched it only using the brake at about 1200 rpm. No launch mode and the 0 to 60 was just under 4.0. I could easily match the 3.5... 0 to 60 that the SRT TRX claims by installing the lower pulley and a PCM tune. That would be lot less than a $ 100k +;for the 27 and only get 75 F HP . As far as the warranty goes I could purchase the extended warranty. It would cover the truck for 50,000 mi and I would never have to deal with ram dealership.

I'm definitely on the fence on what to do so I guess time will only tell. Heck we may not see a 27 until year of 2027.🤣

A pulley and tune will render your powertrain warranty null and void.

Would the warranty be null and void if you were using an extended warranty company like Car Shield?
I called car shield and they told me I could take the truck anywhere I wanted to as long as it was at ASE
Certified mechanic shop.

generally speaking yes, unless otherwise specifically annotated (which is extremely rare)

I have had good results with the Banks Pedal Monster. Eliminates any accelerator lag. Crazy responsiveness for $300 and leaves no trace on your ECM. Just remove it if taking it to the dealership. No worries about voiding warranty.

I’ve never timed my 0-60 but I roasted a Raptor R the other day. He just quit a bus length behind me at about 150 yards.
