Yea, I know that. I removed the VIN digits I had put out publicly not long after posting, to be a team player and helpful.

I did not try to unmask anyone’s VIN info shared and then POST it for everyone else to see… little different

Not sure what you're talking about, but I'm talking about your VIN. You've posted your last 6 digits on this forum, so anyone can figure out your entire VIN.

I know the VIN of automobiles for sale are posted and you can basically see the VIN on vehicles that are for sale at most dealer websites.
In Houston, there was a group of middle-eastern people that were buying wrecked cars and changing out the VIN with either ones they found online or from others that they owned outright. So the deals looked really good, but the people were essentially getting a car that had a salvage title. They were using Craigslist. The stories were always the same..."I am relocating overseas and just need to quickly flip this car....my loss is your gain...etc"

Yea, I am not that concerned, more so embarrassed that I did not redact that document properly as I would for work things… At least I cropped out my home address and name..

Typically I would Print a document/image, black out, rescan, then share. I cheated ( read as, got lazy) and used apple’s “paint edit” feature…

The above about VINs and tracking spreadsheets crossed my mind after recalling what I have seen from tracking posts…

I think I was the first 2023 VIN submission, and wouldn’t retract it for all the tea in China if it provides more insight as to when my beast will arrive

Not concerned with the VIN/order in which these are built, but would like to hear of someone with a granite confirmed D1

People were picking on me for my post, but I think we are on to something. I could be wrong, but think I have seen every color confirmed D1 but Granite. The Dan Cummins weekly update does not show any Granites going D1.

Does that mean that mine will be among the first to be built? What timing should I expect for delivery? I'm sure you guys covered this before, but I have a hard time keeping up.

It just means that it was put on the schedule on 11/16. You should reach out to your dealer and ask what the estimated ship date is - that will determine roughly when it's scheduled to be built. I'm hearing scheduled dates from late November to mid-December right now. Not sure where yours falls until you get the info from your dealer.

I have a 2023 Rebel in Granite ordered 8/30 with VIN ending 501503. No status updates yet.

I really hope you aren't on to something with Granite being an issue....
