2022 TRX
Hey all,

Been tossing the idea around lately of getting out of my TRX and into something else - curious others experience similar to mine. Mainly due to the dealer offering me the same (or just about) amount I paid for it several years ago, and about 10k miles ago.

It's 90% paid off so quite a bit of equity, I've got 40k miles, full extended maxcare warranty until 2030, tinted, wrapped roof, so I have a good chunk of change into it but I'm wondering how the new SRT TRX will impact pricing. Right now I think there's the hype factor propping some prices, and if I could get the majority of my money back having put that many miles on it, I'm tempted.

I love this damn truck, but I also just purchased a 911 Turbo S so the speed/excitement factor has shifted to that now too!

We have gone back and forth on selling randomly. It has always come down to “for what and why”
I haven’t been able to think of a vehicle which does all the things I want ( other than a lateral move to a raptor r).
We use the bed for things, and off-road as well.

Braptor is cool but lose the bed, speed, etc…

If you don’t need the truck aspect there are plenty of cool and unique cars to jump into.

So the question is, what are you looking at?

I was throwing around the idea of an RSQ8, or something similar. Though a more "chill" lifted Denali ultimate or something is nice. But you make good points. I use the bed, I enjoy offroading, and truthfully for what the TRX is, it's still a 1500 underneath and cheaper than most other luxury cruisers or performance vehicles!

My girlfriend has an RSQ8 and really likes it. Has also had three Turbo Ss. She's trading her '21 TRX in on a '27 soon, because to her 28,000 miles is too many.

I thought about getting a Rumble Bee instead of my 6,000-mile '21 TRX, but the more I learn about them the less likely that is to happen. Do what you think will be the most fun/best for you.

Rsq8 would be very fun!
Denali would feel like too “normal” of a vehicle coming from the trx IMO.

Nothing (besides Hyper cars, and the ZR1X) will come close to beating your 911 Turbo S, so that’s a nice box to have checked.

An RSQ8 is definitely a cool/fast SUV (and I am not an Audi fan whatsoever admitting this) but you will lose the utility, off road, and a lot of interior space, along with cool factor by getting rid of your TRX for an SUV.

As already mentioned, other then a lateral move to a Raptor R, I couldn’t think of anything that I would possibly replace my TRX with. Even for double the price of a TRX, I couldn’t think of anything that I would want to drive daily more than this awesome truck.

I have a 22 with 93k. Never had any problems. Haven't even needed a brake job or replaced the battery. I'm thinking of doing a major mtce job at 100k. Belts, brakes, all fluids, etc. Not sure the 2027 TRX is worth it but I may look hard at the Rumble Bees when they come out.

Not sure how the interior space in an RSQ8 could be smaller than in a TRX.

Im in similar debate in my head from time to time.
Freaking love my TRX. 35k miles.
I really like that Rumble Bee too.
Keep the TRX and get the DC Rumble Bee? Or keep the TRX and get a C8 Z06. But then think C8 Corvettes are everywhere and depreciate so much. Every corner has one for sale. I wonder if those get boring too soon.
