People know, that’s for sure….Stellantis just doesn’t want the public to know. Unless you chose black, all other color choices for the 27 MY TRX involve two colors. Two colors is a significantly more involved paint process even if there are no other issues. The fact that Ram is only producing black right now is a way to streamline the build process….for whatever reason. There may, in fact, be a paint process issue, or there may be no paint issue at all.

My estimated ship date got pushed back a week because of this

Could be as simple as the round gas cap covers on the RHO/TRX that everyone is bitching about being mis-matched on non-black trucks.

And the composite fenders probably react differently than metal does.

I aways felt that my (white) '21 front fenders didn't quite match.
