2027 Ram TRX Orders/Allocations

Not necessarily. BA just means the order was submitted. Not accepted by Ram. Your dealer took your order in hopes of getting that allocation.

Once you go to D status and have a VIN, you know the allocation is assured.

And 99 is the lowest priority build number.

Does priority 99 definitively mean the dealer placed an order without an active allocation? Or is that just a default when an order is initially placed?

I got a POC 9/24 (yesterday) with a VON, "BA - Pending Order", and Priority 99. Dealer said they had an allocation to use. Nothing shows up on the RAM tracker yet...

I have a fallback dealer that said the same thing (MSRP deal + allocation available), but who's to say they won't do the same thing? Kind of wild if there's no way for buyers to validate what dealers promise

It will sit in the system until the dealer gets an allocation then get picked up.
Had it happen with a raptor a few years back.

My dealer didn't have an allocation - but, placed the order anyway and I had a VON in less than a week and a VIN in about 3 weeks. Delivery anticipated first week of October. Somedays the bear eats you....BUT...somedays YOU eat the bear! #Grateful for a great a dealership GM!!

Agreed. Another forum member and I placed an order back in June with a dealer who said they had two allocations. Fast forward, while we both have VINs, neither of us are getting that TRX anytime soon. Turns out they lied and had 1 allocation which they gave to the other forum member but then, 2 months later, without telling him, they stripped it, placed another order on his behalf and sent him a new VIN. The dealership decided to keep the original allocation while screwing us over. We have a screenshot of their Facebook post stating all of this, so I am really pissed and intend to cancel my order once I find one for sale.

salesperson doesn't even work there anymore, and I cannot get passed the front desk to talk to anyone. they will only text at this point.

I almost bought another one in Iowa (on autotrader) at MSRP but am second in line if the other buyer falls flat. If anyone sees a molten red at MSRP please DM me (options do not matter).

@RamCares - This process entirely sucks when your dealer is f'n lying.

Sorry that happened, another reason why manufacturer direct sales would be better. Ram doesn’t have to worry about a rogue dealer destroying its reputation, they can handle it all internally.

That's a deal breaker in my book, dealer pulling that is unprofessional and complete BS! I personally would cancel and collect my deposit back. There are plenty of other dealers that will be happy for your business and stay true to the order agreement.
