Ok, the boys and my wife fell asleep after presents and lunch so I’m just checking out youtube. And in my suggested feed are two videos on the 2023 Gen 2 TRX specs. Lighter strong frame, 720 HP, interior changes…

I’m calling BS but who else has seen anything?
I mean we’ve all seen Butter’s video with the red eye possibility but now the computer voice ones are getting crazy with speculations.

Yeah he lost me when he said the TRX comes standard with the 8.4" touchscreen. As far as I know everything will be the same. Ram is supposed to move to the 6th gen in 2024 refresh they showed during EV day. So I don't expect the TRX to change until then when they put in the new drivetrain. I'm hoping for a 1 year run on Redeye TRX's like they did with the Durango Hellcat next year. It makes perfect sense to do it. They make so much money on the TRX and they can make a crapload more with minor updates.

I wouldn't put it past Stellantis to produce a limited quantity Redeye version of the TRX, especially if Ford ends up building the Raptor R. It would be another poke in Ford's eye.

Yeah, Ford really can’t win this war (at least until 2024)…

With this only being the second year of an all new truck I highly doubt we will see Gen 2 next year.

Yup, with Ford they are just as likely to tease the Raptor R as to actually make it...Especially with the Biden administrations move last week to mandate 2026 fuel fleet average to 55mpg up from what the Trump administration had set at 43mpg.

If it's true than it makes no business sense. The war is already over for gas-guzzling trucks. Listen to CEOs Taveres and Farley.

What would a 200 unit limited run of redeye TRX's have for an ADM?

I don’t think the TRX gets any substantial changes. Writing is on the wall and these kind of trucks will be extinct after 23.

That channel is just a stock footage with half-baked info narrated by possibly a bot. Not accurate content.

It’s amazing that a vehicle selling like the TRX will be cancelled due to govt regulation. There’s going to be quite a few unhappy executives when their customer base doesn’t just accept the futures our overlords have chosen for us. I’m perfectly content to keep my dinosaur burners for a long, long time.

Absolutely! Government over reach is really starting to back the auto manufacturing market in a corner. FCA was the last one I expected to kiss the ring so fast. Sad times!

If they make any significant changes for '23 (supposing the last year of TRX production) beyond superficial upgrades (colors, wheels, graphics, etc) it will be Redeye +37s.

TRX-X (as in eXtinction)?

Not normal for me but the way things are headed means I will hang onto these trucks for a long, long time. Only vehicle I would write another check for is a higher performance version of the TRX. Then I will have three keepers.

I will never give GM or Ford another dime after they fought Trump on rescinding cafe standards and similar government nastiness.

Free market might not be legal in the new fascist America but it will live on in my house until I die.

It is to the point where they will be shut down. They have no choice. Pure fascism. Name an old Germany company that survived Nazism without supporting the Nazi's? You can't. They were all killed by their own Government for not complying. We are right there today.

It’s getting very out of hand. We have rough times coming where good people will be forced to defend theirs. At least we will be driving bad ass TRX’s to the shootout. 😂😂😂😂
