2023 Arrived at Dealer

Interest cost of a loan is dependent on balance financed at the same %. If you finance less than 100% of a principal at the same interest you always pay less interest cost.
In the case of a 5% rate on a 100k truck when you finance only 50k you're literally paying less than half the interest cost.

That's not even accounting for much lower payments which would lead me to believe someone with 50% downpayment would probably even get a better rate if going with 60, 48 months which in turn leads to an even less interest cost.

Of course a 1.99% is sweet/better but rates now are limiting affordability and also having people bring more cash to lower interest cost.
What interest rates do you think are being offered even with 720 credit score?

Checkout:

Some are showing 2.99% but if your financing any balance most dealerships require you to use their in-house financing your looking at 5%-9%.

Friemd of mine is F&I at a cadillac dealership

I stick by my statement in todays world it's a monstrous interest rate albeit on a smaller balance.

It’s so hit or miss. My credit score is well above 800 and even with a more than 20% down payment, the local credit union is at 5.79% for 72 and the dealership is 7-9% depending on a few things.

If I saw 2.99% anywhere I would jump on that ASAP

Nobody will give you 2.99 unless its 36mo or something like that or it's a manufacturer straight deal.

Fed funds rate is sitting at 4.5%. They would be making no money from you if they loaned the money at lower than say 4.7-5.0

I did a few apps just a week ago and at 72mo lowest I saw was 5.04%. Even a few local credit unions were giving me 5.75%. Rates will increase again approx in a month. Jump will most likely be .25-.5%

I’m just planning to lock in whatever I can and then watch it like a Hawk and refinance as soon as possible when (hopefully) the market makes its turn. Wishful thinking anyways 🤷‍♂️

I've seen several posts on FB where dealers are selling MY 23 that's been delivered and yet mine is not even scheduled for production yet

I called the first 2023 listing that showed up in MA a week or two ago. It was a customer order they had not yet received, if they were being truthful.

Picked up my 23 from Miles yesterday. Easy to work with start to finish. I highly recommend them to anyone considering a TRX.

Thank you @Miles Goff !

Ordered 8/25
Arrived 1/6

My ‘23 is scheduled due in MA on 2/17
I am in KZ Hell, mine was built with a WS on like 12/16, Estimated Delivery was 1/12. No movement as of last Friday still… sitting in a yard somewhere, with an Estimated Delivery of TBD..

The Chicken ™️ must hate me..

I don’t want to bother my dealer all the time, but disappointed right now I know anything at all. (ignorance is bliss, as the saying goes)

It was all over the day I saw it get scheduled, then in production, then built! Whoa! But when the Window Sticker came out, I started buying accessories :D

me and you both buddy. My Truck has been in New Boston since last year! 12/29 and not a single foot of movement. I thought this truck was going to go from 0-60 in 3.9!

Ordered in October.....maybe they ran out of silver paint? No Worries yet. "To whom it may concern, Mr. / Mrs. RAM go ahead and paint mine with leftover sandblast or destroyer gray..." and send it out already!
