2022 Ram TRX Ordering closed for a while! This thread is for those who already ordered!

Hey man I order my from you last week so cool I found u on this forum… so now I can bug you on here lol jk. But any update yet on my Trx 🤪…
 
I had a hard time believing I was getting 5500 off I thought for sure u guys were going to try something when time of pick up came. But now seeing you on here make me feel a lot more comfortable… Have you had any of your D status change to d1 yet
 
I was going to order Summer of 2020... When at the last minute ... The dealership decided to go 10k over MSRP. So... I said "nope" and went to a different dealership who would sell at MSRP. Problem is....they used all of their allocations up on stuff THEY built. None of which were close to what I wanted . So....I thought ....meh... And just bought a 2020 Ram Rebel at a great price.
Well I needed an tire sensor replaced and while I was waiting .. I test drive a TRX. I decided I wanted one. Lol. So...now I'm back looking to buy. That particular store wants 10k over still. The other dealer is at MSRP. So the guy on here is offering 5,500 under MSRP.... My question is...how is the dealership he is at keeping up? Aren't allocations limited ?

It’s my understanding that allocations aren’t really a thing this year and they are building the sold orders. This is evidenced in the granger 5k off thread. All their orders for 2022 are in D status with Vins issued per Zach today.
 
Most dealers are still playing the markup game.. it's up to you to get them to agree to MSRP on an order. So they are hurting themselves with tactics like that because meanwhile, other dealers are making deals on sold orders and rolling then out the door!

Couldn't get local dealers here to grasp that concept......even at offering them MSRP to place an order! One would think that they would want the ADDITIONAL unit???

My wife has it in her 21 Pacifica. It's nice. More configurable and has wireless Apple Car Play / Android Auto. I'm not sure I would go through the hassle of upgrading for it though.

22’ is not going D1 until September. They got pushed back again.

Ignore the complaints on Amazon about setup. I put this my TRX and it was running in less than 5 minutes. Auto connects and disconnects like factory and now just have to drop my phone into the wireless charger and go.
 
Does anyone know if the 5500 off MSRP is still a good offer? I emailed/texted Kurt but haven't heard back. Just wondering if I should seek other means as I'd like to order today.

He just responded to me yesterday. He's likely just getting through his emails.

Wait, what?? One of these trucks (NN150720) is in D1 status already. This is a dealer order from 8/6.
I guess that blows the theory of Sold orders having build priority. I’m curious as to why this truck is scheduled over so many orders from ~3 months prior.
 
It was a sold order that a customer backed out of!
