2023 RAM TRX Changes:

• An available 12-inch frameless digital gauge cluster features nearly two dozen different menus. The full-color cluster features five reconfigurable tiles for at-a-glance data, or quick and easy access to the most used information. Drivers may choose between analog or digital instrumentation. All cluster settings can be saved to a user profile
• New for 2023, Ram 1500 models equipped with the 12-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen now includes Emergency Vehicle Alert System (EVAS)
• New for 2023, all Ram 1500 models now feature Rear-seat Reminder Alert and an LED hitch lamp located in the tailgate handle
• New for 2023, Ram 1500 glove box features UV light that’s engaged through a button on the center console. Once engaged, the UV light will start a three-minute hygiene cycle that kills bacteria

I actually like the way the digital dash cluster looks. I'm not going to be trading my 22 in and ordering a 23, but it looks better than I imagined.

Yeah, I've been wondering what that's actually for. Disinfecting hands? Or is it to purify the air?

Either way, it seems an odd thing to add. At the height of the Covid scare, it probably sounded like a slam dunk for sales.

I wonder if the dimensions are the same, in the sense that you could have this retroactively installed if you really wanted to. That would be a huge plus, but I'd be surprised.

About time Ram let everyone in on the digital cluster secret. I don't know why I would want to put my phone all the way in the glove box. Why not put it in that wasted space Infront of the shifter?

If it’s that nice, I would. I rented a BMW for a trip to Illinois and back, and used the native GPS there and back, because having it in the dash was so nice.

Compared to other digital clusters out there it looks cheap and unpolished.
Trying to do "the next thing" RAM keeps pushing the TRX away from its character. The UC5 is a great example of making things worse and IMO looks horrible. I much rather stick with the original gauge clusters. An original ICE muscle truck being itself and not a transitioning electric bore fest to please the geeks

I was going to hold off ordering to get the digital cluster. Glad I didn't wait and ordered a 22.
