Let me just say - I'm not even close to my delivery date and I have already been very impressed with Amanda and the Granger team! The service and response times have been second to none so far in all of my Mopar orders (of which there have been many).

I'll be ordering the Mopar power steps and I am still strongly considering the Tyrant package. I'd actually like 37s, but I do NOT want 20" wheels. Honestly, I just want the Tyrant package and 37" Nitto Ridge Grapplers (or something similar) on the factory 18s with no lift or other stuff. I really like the factory beadlock wheels (which is why I paid for the option).

I assume you could just do the regular Tyrant package and put a deposit down on 37x12.50r18 Nitto RGs and have Granger install them. I do know when I did my 392 order this summer they told me that they no longer accepted trades on tires though so I would have had to pay for the swap and try to sell the stock ones on my own. I went to my local tire guy (it's a Pomps which it looks like you also have in STL) and he made me a great trade deal on the factory KO2s to Falcon 35's and was fine with the drive home mileage before the swap. He also offered another great deal on a swap for the factory 35s from the TRX if I wanted to put 37s on it but I decided to stick with the factory tires.

Awesome man! Thanks for the heads up! Are you happy with the 35s? I think they look fine on the truck, but I feel like 37s might look "perfect." That said, I don't want to change the wheels, so if I can get a swap deal like that, I may consider it, but otherwise, I'll probably roll the 35s until it's time to change them.

I have been happy with the 35s on the Rubicon, honestly. They are actually pretty quiet, especially comared to the Ridge Grapplers that I had on my 2020 Rubi.

I'm not familiar with Pomps, but I'll look them up and check on that.

I like the stock tires and think they look good, I wasn't sure I would like them on the road but they track well and while not quite as quiet as the Falkens are better then the stock KO2s on the 392. My opinion of swapping to 37s is, I like 37s but I didn't want to give away any performance to a heavier tire. You also lose the backup sensors if you reprogram your tire size above 35 to calibrate the speedo and either having an off speedo or losing those sensors is a deal-breaker for me.

That's good to know. Why does it have that impact on the reverse sensors? Seems like an odd connection. Or am I misunderstanding which sensors you're referring to?

Search on here, apparently it's coded into the truck that if you program your tire size above 35" it disables the park sensors. Probably some NHTSA safety nanny because the calibration might be off enough that you may accidentally not detect a child in the path or something.

Then that settles it! I'll be sticking with 35s because my wife is already complaining about the size of the truck and I want her to love it as much as I think she will. Disabling any of the driver assist options, particularly as it pertains to parking the beast will not help her to love the truck. :)

Another custom ordered 🔥Billet Silver🔥 TRX headed off to it's forever home!

Hi Amanda! Would this be the best time to inquire about adding Mopar Power Steps to my TRX, or is there a better time/way to go about it?
Just got a reply from Jackie about adding beadlocks to my initial order. Didn't even have to check back with her, she was right on it and notified me that the update had been processed. If the whole process with Granger is as smooth as this I'll be a happy bunny.:)

How long did it take to get confirmation of the change? I changed from Granite to Black yesterday and was told to check back in 7 - 10 days.

I added the carbon fiber package and it took about a week to confirm .

You guys have to be killing it!... I bought mine local for $3k under MSRP.... because I'm not as fond of road trips as I was when I was younger. or dealing with transport companies.
Might have had a change of heart if I could have got a Tyrant at this price point.

I'm old enough to have bought a Ram from Dave Smith 20+ years ago... And flew in from Reno to pick it up and drive it home.

Called them when I was looking for my TRX.... They obviously changed ownership/business models lol.

For me, the road trip is half of the allure! I love doing "fly and buys" on vehicles. It's one of my favorite activities! But I agree, the Tyrant package from Granger makes this Fly and Buy even more appealing! The hard part is going to be "playing nice" during the break in period on my way home. :)

In a new vehicle believe it or not; the first 500 miles goes pretty quick from the thrill and excitement of all things new! And it's a TRX!!! Looks pretty awesome on the road :)
