10 things New Buyers should know:

Congrats on taking delivery brother… 6 months in I have not once looked at what “my next vehicle” could be.
Great point! That is the ultimate measuring stick. I used to constantly think about my next car or truck. Not any more.

I have State Farm Insurance and it is $300 every 6 months. Same as the 21 F150 with the 5.0 that I just gave my son. And as far as a daily it is mine, but my drive to work from my house is only 3.7 miles each way. So if the gas gets to expensive I could always walk.. lol As far as the bad looks from people I get mixed responses, Sometime when I launch it from a light some people look like WTF, and others that know what it is I usually get thumbs up... But, I bought this truck to make myself happy so to be honest I could care less if everyone gave me bad looks.. All good either way as far as I am concerned..
I love mine so far, I have only had it about 3 weeks so far but I can say I'm very happy I finally bought one.

Steve...Tell Julie this an odometer photo taken today...7,000 miles...mpg has increased from 14.9 to 16.0 this summer.

Agreed, insurance is super reasonable on the TRX and gas mileage is not a big factor for most TRX drivers......considering the trade off HP vs MPG.

3. It’s Gangster:
It really is. It’s very intimidating especially in Black and with the Ram Bar. The Ram bar will for sure add a cartel touch to it. “Black TRX with Ram bar is very aggressive.”

Truth

I didn't buy it to flex, but this point occurred to me when I drove my TRX back from Wisconsin to Seattle.

During my drive home I stopped and stayed at the JW Marriott in Minneapolis. The TRX was very new at the time (I was an early buyer), and my Granite TRX was a super rare bird.

The hotel was on lock-down due to the protests they had there, and the JW Marriot was a command center for the Feds.

I drive up in the TRX and hotel security stopped me before they let me in to the parking lot.

Lady security guard comes up to me, looks at the truck and says to me, "Are you FBI??" LMAO

She legit though I was in some new age super government truck. I laughed, said I was a civilian and just staying the night on the drive home. But got a chuckle knowing that at the time, the TRX was basically like a truck version of the batmobile and I loved it.

Not bad but I have a few quibbles. With regards to no 9, you're probably looking at that from a Commiefornia-centric POV as, for us in the heartland, the TRX costs the same to insure as any other Ram 1500 (which is less than my previous Power Wagon was), taxes were only a one-time 4% and plates are $108/yr. As for 10, it's a luxury truck just with a lot more power. Again for us in flyover country, we grew up driving trucks and see souped-up trucks all the time. Yes, it's a ridiculous hot-rod factory truck, sure, but it's still an easy daily driver and very comfortable road-tripper too.
Yep, I live in California... Was shocked that registration and Insurance on my TRX.. Is almost exactly what it was on my 2015 Ram Sport.
