“TRX Blasted to 60 MPH in 3.7 Seconds”

Sorry if this was already discussed, but Car and Driver magazine got a 3.7 second 0-60 time in the TRX.
Thats insane considering it’s supposed to be 4.5 seconds

yesterday off the foot brake I went according to the Trx pages 3.9sec 0-60 mph and 12.7 @ 109

I ran a 3.5 to sixty last night. It runs consistent 3.9s in sport mode without launch control. The 3.5 was with launch control stalled to 2,200 rpms

Great times - both 0-60, the time of the year to put down good quarter mile runs, and in the broader, era of the supertruck sense as well!

I know dyno numbers are a dime a dozen and difficult to compare across dynos and conditions, however... has anyone put their TRX on a dyno after breakin, or any plans to do so?

I think they are going with the McLaren strategy of underpromise and over deliver on power.
Smart considering Ford will likely try to beat their numbers on paper, but in the real world, the TRX will still spank the new Raptor R... Hopefully

Yeah I agree. I talked with some at FCA last fall and I got the impression that was a definite strategy. How are you liking the Beast? Cheers
