Looking for tires that will go on my truck when I get it. The truck will be on mostly highway. I farm, so it will be on dirt too and it will see snow. What are your recommendations and why? I'm going with 20" wheels.

I have BF Goodrich KM3 mud tires.

Kinda depends if you are looking for: looks or function. In the looks department they are mean. But if you're going mostly highway may want to go A/T route.

For mostly highway use, I'd stay away from M/Ts. Can't go wrong with Open Country AT3, Open Country R/T (Backordered for awhile), Wildpeak A/T3w, Geolander X-AT or Ridge Grappler.

They'll all perform pretty similar. I'd just choose whatever you think looks the best and is available near you.

Nitto Ridge Grapplers or the new Nitto Recon Grapplers. Here’s pictures of both (Ridge Grapplers are the ones mounted)

If you go Nitto (which I like as well) the Recon are rated better then the ridge or Terra GII on every category. They are much heavier then our stock tires but lighter then most aftermarket tires

If you see snow, you will likely want a Mountain Snowflake rated tire like the Toyo Open Country ATIII, of the new Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T (12.5 or narrower). I installed a set of the Toyos on a suburban build I did for a customer that keeps it in Telluride, and he said they perform great. I like the look of the new Baja Boss A/T, but don't have any experience with them in the snow.

Do you have your YouTube channel? Just watched video about this truck yesterday. Nice vid.

Just got back last night from a couple of days at the ranch so sorry for the dirt. You can see with the wheels I have what the Ridge Grapplers look like.

Beadlock (including the simulated on a real beadlock wheel) rings stick out much further than the lips on non beadlock wheels. There's not a tire on the market that I can think of that will have wheel protectors that protrude past that ring.... lol

This may be a silly question but why not run with the stock GY’s?

Exactly! Why I posted that pic of mine because depending on your wheels it is a non issue.

I see where you are located. You could not pay me to run those tires over Stoney Mountain pass from Silverton back towards Creede! Do a search on the site several threads discuss the robustness of the factory tires and why they are what they are being speed rated to 118. There is no free lunch as they say.

Short answer is they are garbage. Not the worse tire but far from the best. I know the question wasn't directed to me but I'm running 20" wheels so had to source tires anyways.

This is something I don't get. According Goodyear website, the tire Speed Rating is Q, which is 99 mph. How can RAM allow 118 max speed?

Can you elaborate on the stock being garbage, I'm honestly asking as I'm looking for a set for my coming Grand Wagoneer and I love the stock tires on my TRX so far, and they are the lightest and highest rates for speed I can find, so I thought if an 18" rim will fit the Wagoneer I'd slap takeoff TRX set on it. If the 18" rim will not fit< I'm going with 20x9 and the 12.5 Recon.
What issues did you find with the stock Tires?

Nope it is rated T which is 118 - Copied from the Goodyear web site.
