The tips were never shipped to me... nor the connector pipes...keep guessing

What connector pipes? The hardware & clamps came but not the tips? They’re in the same box w/ a foam cut-out space for the tips, weird that would be overlooked.

This is an interesting thread to say the least. Without the tips the exhaust will not clear the bumper cutouts. Got to go back and look for pictures. Without the tips it would change the sound as well. So this gets more interesting...

Hardware was shipped separately as it wasn't in kit

I read that post by Johnny before he deleted it too, sounded really bad man.. And was there something about a chargeback or was he just referring to a refund? Of course you don’t have to but since you brought it up, I would be curious to hear the other “side of the story”.

I want everyone to be made whole.. I also don't want to be out $$$$ for AWEs issue. I will be happy to help Johnny get money back from AWE, but I am not getting caught holding the bag...

Will discuss more when all pending issues are resolved..I

I know you have the extreme delete on, but did you happen to hear the NDT? Just wondering where it falls on the volume spectrum between the stock setup and straight pipes. I absolutely love the tone and sound of the stock setup, I just wish it was louder. Hoping the NDT accomplishes that.

I went straight to the xtreme delete because I knew the drone wouldn't bother me. I'd say you'll be very pleased with NDT, it's what they built the xMOD for anyway, the "best of both worlds" - as to how much louder xtreme delete actually is, I'm sorry that I couldn't tell you.

No worries - thanks man appreciate the response. I'm probably going to get it... pretty close to pulling the trigger haha. I had a race series Magnaflow on my Camaro and absolutely loved the tone. Basically looking for that just toned down a little and with less drone. Pretty much sounds like what NDT is. Thanks again.

No problem. I'm really picky with everything that goes into my cars, even so much as I preferred the Magnaflow tips because they didn't stamp their freakin logo on the top of it like AWE did. I haven't heard the AWE in person, just on some vids, but in person the Magnaflow is extremely aggressive - whenever I stomp on the gas it turns heads and I see thumbs up out the windows. Very cool.

Same here buddy. Lol. I was literally asking around to find out if Magnaflow stamped their branding on the tips. But yeah that sounds right up my alley. This truck deserves that sound.

I prefer to have the logo on the tips, super subtle but there‘s a little something something vs stock. But I also like the bed side & hood graphics, adds interesting details,,, some dont... The problem imo is you have to really look to see it.

Honestly, if an aftermarket exhaust manufacturer were to put a likeness of Greta Thunberg (angry face expression) on the exhaust tips, it may sway me.

Yeah I hear ya - some people prefer it. I did go a little *too* clean on my build, so I'm adding the bed graphics and Rambar - after driving the truck for a few weeks I've decided it deserves to be a little more aurally and visually loud. I still prefer the clean exhaust tips but that's just me.
