When I reached out to Bedslide, they told me the height from the bed floor to the deck surface is 4.5". No problem with the RSI, but problematic with a tonneau cover.

BTW love my Rigd tire swing. Good platform for carrying items such as CO2, traction boards, poop bucket, Trasharoo, etc.

I just have it strapped to the Side Hack. I like the bucket because I can carry other things in it like foldable traction boards and clippers. That said, I just bought a Cleanwaste Go Anywhere Portable Toilet that folds up much more compact that I would just carry in the back.

Totally get it - although NutHouse could possibly build a slide with cutouts that would allow the fridge to fit (depending on dimensions). I had that done to accommodate my ARB Elements.

Any rubbing at full turn with that size of tire on stock suspension? Also, have you flexed it out without rubbing issues offroad? GREAT looking TRX!

I didn't install it because it is not compatible with the Foutz Underbody armor I have installed. I sold it on the forum to @RoNiN who installed it here ->

I run one on my prerunner with the m220/d46HD.

These advantek axles hold so little oil…

We used to cook the rear diffs in the crown Vic during some prolonged car chases in the city… mostly because they were so shoddily maintained.

And then when I started working on a project with the R180 and R200’s I got to learn about power and heat in the diff.
So a diff cover that had cooling veins and then also a pump and heat exchanger,

Anyways my d46 would get hot at speed offroad but got to the critical point when I went to 33’s and then got better with a regear and 35’s but that may have been for other reasons like me getting scared.

Diff cover that held more fluid and had a giant heat sink on it and the temps dropped significantly.

Only downside is the aluminum ones aren’t as tough as steel if you do any rock work.
Apparently there are some large capacity d60 covers in steel.

I will put a temp strip on the oem cover and shaft tube and by the pinion seals to see what temps they generate this spring on the next trip. If the temps get high… then cover.., if not then no.
I’m getting slower in my acheyness.

Tl;DR they work but are more fragile than steel. Don’t believe Banks. He made that video to release his product. His product is good too. But he slung a lot of bs in that video

And here is the zr2. Before I was doing the fast stuff I did some crawl stuff (not that these pics are crawling really but you get the idea)

The afe diff covers are on both trucks and I had zero issues with scrapes and bumps.

I just fear that steel bends and dents and aluminum doesn’t. But… I don’t think it’s an issue unless you are a scrape your sliders off-road kind of person
