eBay Carbon Fiber/Leather Heated Steering Wheel

Thanks for trying. It’s not a huge deal. It was more just to satisfy my curiosity.

Hope this helps, these are the pics I have of the install.

That’s perfect. Thank you. Looks like your blue wires were attached much more securely at the factory based on what I’m seeing. Thanks again.

The eBay seller sent me a replacement steering wheel with the correct stitching color. I'm happy with my reupholstered version of my OEM steering wheel, though.

If anyone doesn't want to wait and wants a heated steering wheel with full black perforated leather and grey stitching to match TRXs without the red accent package, let me know. I'll sell for $600 + shipping.

Can you post pics of your upholstered OEM wheel? Curious to how it came out.
If you have a chance post a pic of the eBay one as well?

How are those CF wheels holding up? Thinking about adding one to the list this holiday season.

No issues with mine, still satisfied.

I would like to hear from the other owners that went with the matte/satin finish. Mine seems to have developed a gloss look to it over time. I thought it may be due to the oils and what not of my hands but I have tried cleaning it and can't seem to bring back that satin look.

I went matte with mine as well but I’ve really only had it on a month or so and looks as it did when it was installed.

The matte carbon steering is holding up well and is one of the best mods I made to the truck. Makes other steering wheels look and feel boring.

Are you ever in south central PA? I would love to see and feel one of these steering wheels first hand before buying.

I live in Chester Springs but have parents that live in york, so in that area monthly. Where are you? Would be happy to meet up. The stock wheel is very nice, the new carbon wheel is on another level.

I’m in chambersburg. York isn’t too bad of a trip for me. I have a level 2 wheel with the alcantara, but seriously considering one of the ebay carbon fiber wheels.

Nice. Yeah I can go the turnpike and meet you somewhere and then hit 83 south to york, so not really out of the way at all.

I've seen some mixed reviews about the heating. Does it retain factory heat? If so, does the wheel still get as hot, or is it lacking?

I've only used mine a handful of times, it retains the heating element but I believe its only in the areas covered in leather or alcantara.

I cant remember if the whole unit was heated on the OEM wheel.

Mine cost 500 usd, just fitted. Grip hands down is better and quailty is not bad at all

Put in an offer today on an ebay wheel that I figured would get rejected. To my surprise it was accepted and now I‘m in the waiting game.

Matte carbon, perforated leather, gray stitching, gray stripe at top, and heating elements.
