Yes, you can just disable that option.

Good to know, thanks Eighty. It must be on by default since I only adjusted DRLs when I configured my Tazer.

You know, I just went and looked it up in the manual. It says that the Tazer will automatically remember the settings. But I could have sworn that I saw it as an option when I was running through things. Maybe I'm wrong - it might not be configurable.
Can anyone confirm? I'm not at my truck right now.

Instagram Z auto just said posted a video that the auto park feature has been killed. For the Jeep JL and will cross to the Ram DT. But they did say that wasn’t the biggest feature yet. He did say the big feature was for all Tazer models. In a couple days.

This makes me so happy for my Gladiator. Auto parking brake should never have been point on a Jeep much less an off road Truck.

Sorry, I should have worded that differently. Our RAM TRX's can be set to automatically put the parking break on when you shift into park. That is not what we are talking about though.

The new Jeeps and our TRXs have "park sense" If you are in drive and do not have your seat belt on, and you open the door, the vehicle will automatically shift into park. This is very frustrating if you are off roading and just opening the door to lean out to spot. Another annoying situation for off roaders is when you are trying to winch yourself out of something and purposely do not want the vehicle in park but it keeps shifting into park when you open the door.

I didn’t know that we can set the trucks to engage parking brake when in park. That will maybe help deter theft from someone pulling the neutral safety release. Heck yeahhh

I still think it’s that they figured out the gearing and tire size.

If you are a charger or challenger and put a manual diff in an auto and go to different drag tires… or the jeep/trx and regear and go to 37’s or 39’s… lol

Idk. It says all tazer applications!! My JL is on 40’s and my back up sensors and everything works fine. Has for the last 2 years. So I can’t think that is the big feature that is good across all Tazer models. Challenger charger trucks Jeeps etc. But I could be wrong. I hope some how it’s like an IGLA deal some how.

Love the auto parking brake feature when put into park. Lots of hills around here so it’s nice to hVe the auto brake every time I park.

The door open when in drive and shifting to park is annoying, my last ram did that too and I dislike it. Will be nice to turn that feature off.

Can’t wait to have a tazer, patiently waiting for the update so brawlerfab can ship mine out! No use for it without the update so I’m just waiting.
