I’m really torn on Ditch Lights for the TRX. If you have them on your truck, please post what you have. I loved how they looked on my Raptor (see below), but I just can’t decide on the TRX.

What's the best mounting bracket for the TRX? Is it the SDHQ’s?

I'm thinking about LP6's for A-pillar lights when I get my truck. How did you like them on your Raptor?
LP6s would be too big on the pillar. Get the XL80 wide cornering.

Could do LP4 but the LPs have a lens on the side which will light up your hood too much.

Didn't think of the side leds reflecting off the hood. So XL80 with wide cornering/ spot combo?

I am going with wide cornering only on the pillars and aim them out to the sides. Add bumper with Arc 30” and 4 LP6s

I went with the Sdhq brackets and rigid dxl pro lights. Little bigger look than I wanted but lights are very very bright!

Those were not LP6’s. They were a generic brand my accessory store had and suggested I try them before spending big money on lights. I honestly couldn’t even tell you the brand, but they were around $100 each. What I learned is the wide width pattern reflected off the hood but didn’t give much output. If I was to do it again and wanted down field light I’d got with a spot pattern. I thought they looked cool on the truck, but those particular lights didn’t do much.

We will be shipping our new ones by next week. They are at powder coat now. They are placed in a great spot and greatly reduce splashback/ reflection off of the hood due to the location. We tested these extensively and changed the design multiple times to get the placement just where wanted for the best compromise between looks and performance. In my opinion they look the best in closer but perform the best out further. We have these pushed out about 3/4 of the way on the adjustment on the light bracket so they can be moved in tighter or out further from the location shown. We will also be releasing another bracket to accessorize this one or should be compatible with most other brands Ditch Light Brackets as well that will allow you to mount two lights and give some flexibility in light location.

Do it! A pillar lights are so helpful and, honestly, I rarely use my bumper lights because I have my A pillar ones. Best use up there for Baja Designs would be the Squadrons, XL80's, or the Lp4's. We've got almost any light you'd need in stock right now and we ship out super fast!

I love the backlit look. Got the rigid industries with amber backlight. The amber will match perfectly the hood marker lights. Waiting for shifts and grins to get the dual bracket ready. Can't wait!
