What did you do to your TRX today?

So you ran yours without the lid? Is it ridiculously loud like the BWoody? Not really looking for that much noise. I thought maybe a few one inch holes would make a difference in sound without being obnoxious
Having only heard the Bwoody in videos I would say the S&B w/o lid seems close to that noise level. I ran it for a little bit like that just to get a feel for it. It was too much for me. Not sure how the holes would play out in comparison.

Finally installed my BulletProofDiesel Third Brake Light Dual Antenna Mount with Chase Lights!

I really just bought it because I wanted the chase lights - I have no radio or anything to make use of the antenna mounts, but I did coil up the coax in the headliner just in case I change my mind.

With one person, and in 105+ degree temps, this was a passion project for sure haha. I parked in this SUPER shitty self-service car wash bay because at least I had shade and the occasional breeze, plus I figured I wouldn't get hassled if it wasn't busy.

I spent a couple weeks researching and ordering all the wiring stuff so that I could make my own weather pack connectors (so it would be like an OEM install). I also labeled my AUX lines with shrink wrap - easier for future reference of what's what. Interior routing wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, I didn't need to drop the entire headliner, just the driver side and very carefully ran down the A-Pillar. Getting thru the firewall was freaking annoying as all hell. I was so close to done and with one person (no one to grab the other side once it poked thru and pull.....and the stupid rubber grommet is double walled - so it's not like I could just poke thru one layer and then grab it. I'm sure there's a more efficient way, but I finally got a small tube and just did an X pattern with a knife thru the rubber - then fed the lines up the tube. Routed everything behind the battery mount for a clean install. Looks perfect and I am proud to do it myself!

BIG THANKS to @bman17 for sharing his install and answering my questions!

Awesome! It looks even better than the way we did it. Congrats!
If you want another light project that is super easy and effective, I love my SDHQ A pillar brackets and XL80's we just installed and it took us ~1.5 hrs to install and for me to button up the cables.
There isn't any noticeable noise from air friction until about 75mph, and a bit of music covers that right up.

Got the Hellwig sway bar installed-ish. Will probably switch it to the stiffest setting. Also have to replace the upper bushing sleeves with ones of the correct length when they arrive tomorrow. And maybe flip the links. Wish I would have read through all 847 pages of the sway bar thread first. At this point I should have just made my own.

Why would you flip them? I think you have them correctly installed now.
Was thinking maybe the threaded portions wouldn’t get as trashed if they were pointed towards the top. Not sure it actually matters though. They will get a shit load fluid film either way.

It may not make a difference. I just think it looks less clunky with the lighter end at the bottom and the heavy portion largely out of sight.

Whoa! Now that's a bold statement right there, well done. 🍻

4 hour one way drive for work today. Usually it’s below 300 miles
Oh that makes a lot more sense haha. Highest I've seen was around 380 and that was after a 3 hour drive at 80ish mph. 37s don't help.

Brought her to work today. I am guessing I missed the memo, majority of the coworkers took a 3 day weekend. Oh well, got to pay for this thing, and at least I won't have to worry about door dings!
