Anyone put Horsepower stripes on their truck yet?

Not a fan of stripes on 4X4 trucks. Look great on others though. JMO and you know what they say about those.

Not yet, but I have I plan very similar to yours. Mine is Granite Crystal (so I am told, as it continues to sit at effing SHAP with no delivery date), and my plan is to do a full-body, satin-finish, dark gray wrap with flat black rally stripes and red outlines (but only on the outsides of the rally stripes) similar to your picture. Since they will be part of the wrap however, they will only cover the hood, roof and tailgate (you can't wrap the plastic parts on the bumpers or grill). Decided on wrap vice PPF simply due to cost and you can get some graphics for free.

Did you ever do the racing strips on your truck ? Pictures ?

But, the OEM Hellcat Fender Badges do add HP

JUST PICKED IT UP YESTERDAY!! Stripes are surely coming, but id like to drive it awhile before I leave it for 2 weeks with the rap guys. Pictures WILL follow once it is done.

I don’t mind them but I would want to delete the “Ram” on the tailgate if I was gonna put stripes on the tailgate.

I want to as well, but VERY hard = expensive to do.

Unlike all the other badging on the truck which is just held on with 3M automotive tape, the tailgate “RAM” has 19 clip-in guide pins. Which = 19 holes in the metal that would need to be filled in, smoothed, and re-painted. Plus because this tailgate is thin aluminum to save on weight, it makes it even more expensive as it is more difficult for body shops to work with. The result being, at least for me, is I am going to leave it on there.

The problem for me is, the truck sits so high, you'd barely be able to see the stripes, aside from maybe partial view on the hood and on the tailgate. I'd probably go the extra mile and remove RAM off the tailgate. Or maybe find a way to paint the RAM letters to match the stripes and the body color so it flows/blends nicely with the stripes. My previous ride was a silver Challenger SRT with black racing stripes, and it looked mean. I just don't know how I'd pull it off on this truck. Please share pics as you proceed, and good luck!

I bought a regular tailgate (with the big rams head badge) from a junkyard and I’m having it shaved. Then I will be doing a full wrap. Cost was about $450 including the jy tailgate.
