New Ram TRX Arrived...dealer damaged it upon delivery inspection

TRX order arrived at dealer earlier in the week. They did damage immediately when they pulled it in for the PDI (scraped a brand new Jeep Grand Cherokee pretty badly too). Dented and scratched the rear door and fender flare. They have to fix it of course and they will. Pretty wild. $95000 window sticker price. Has anyone seen any other threads of similar experiences? How much should the dealer offer to discount? 15% off?
If I were you.
If the engine were to be okay and no harm happened to it. I think it’s okay to still buy the truck if they fix it and also I do think they should compensate you for the aggravation
That’s just me.

I think you may be confusing me with OP, who appears to be in NJ. I just added to OP’s original posting because of same topic.

That thread was created by another member. There were 3 or 4 threads popped up yesterday with similar situation.

 
Mine arrived with 2 small dings on it and front fender flares scratched up. Pointed it out to my selling dealer and they took care of it right away. They had the PDR guy on site pop them out, they ordered new flares while I was there and I took delivery without hesitation.

I did a very thorough walk through and positioned the truck in different angles just to make sure it didn’t have anything crazy as far as damage goes.

Super happy with this damn truck.
 

I got this email a couple days ago from the dealer:​

Upon inspection, it appears that there are a few scratches (photos are attached for your viewing).​

This transport damage will be repaired at no additional cost to you.​

That transport driver needs a full on beat down!

Looks like they dented the door and the side of the bed.
Are you thinking let them repair it, or pass on it and order another one?

Correct. I'll let them repair, it's at the body shop now. I'll determine course of action once the dealer notifies me the bodywork is done. It took 8 months for that to arrive so I'm not going to order another one and wait all that time again
