I'm dropping my truck off next week for STEK Dynomatt and the wife's gets STEK Dynoshield (clear) the following week. Do any of you have STEK with decals applied over the PPF? I've been wondering how well they "stick" with the hydrophobic properties of the film. It's advertised as having Ceramic-like characteristics built in.

You want to install the decals first then ppf.
Installer is recommending installation over the PPF. Assured there will be no issue with them adhering.

I would not put the wrap over the decals, it will leave air pockets around the edges of the decals.

I have my ppf put on and then decals put on top of ppf. Worked perfect this way

Truck is now at the installer. Truck has been debadged and decals removed. Opted to have DYNOshade applied to the headlights and Tails which is huge improvement IMO. PPF started TODAY. Will post pics of progress when I get them. Here are a few of the DYNOshade.

Looks real good too bad there are no stek installers any where close to me in MA.

Picked mine up today! Opted to leave bedside decals off for now. We went to dinner when we got back in town and had a CROWD around the truck when we parked  . A guy with a Granite Rebel was loosing his mind! Took us 15 minutes to get inside :ROFLMAO:

Nice beast. That red Hood deal is factory?
No. It's aftermarket. The large black cowl decal is OEM replacement and I didn't replace the smaller decal that goes in front of the scoop opening. Just thought it looks better without.

This does look fantastic. Only way to go with the granite color. Your truck is like a celebrity now :ROFLMAO:
The best surprise was the black on the lower part of the truck. I've never really been a fan of it but it looks amazing in MATTE. Blends in perfect with the bumpers, flares, and flaps.

Love how some of yall mod the grill. I'm having granite too and trying to map out the mods for the hood, decals and the grille. Since factory parts are quite blended in with granite color unlike white trx. Thinking choosing red to pop out

Picking up the wife's truck today. Installer sent some preview pics yesterday and last night when he got everything back together.

Man these look so awesome!! Congrats. I am having the hardest decision with going Matte as I love the Metallic flake. Local Installer quoted me just over $8K for whole vehicle in Matte including headlights and taillights smoked. Without having to tell me how much you spent, is that a competitive price? Did your installer use pre-cut template or hand cut? TIA advance for the info. I am envious.

I went with mostly precut. Here's why. "If" the need to replace a piece ever occurs its much easier. Unless you know where to look and are really looking hard it's near impossible to notice especially on Granite. The program my installer used to do the cuts allows for panel overlap anyway. 8K is not bad. I was a little under that with everything. We are very pleased with the quality of the installation results.
