TRX brake upgrades

Little Shop MFG doesn't offer a kit for the TRX. The 19+ Ram 1500 will not fit the TRX. According to them the caliper mounting positions are different.

A custom caliper mount would not be hard for a machine shop or someone with a cnc or water/plasma table.

According to the CEIKA website the brakes they make fit the 1500 and the 2500 making me think they mount the same?

I spec'd out a front set only with iron rotors and 6 piston caliper that will clear a 17 inch wheel for $2,100. If these things work, I would definitely buy a set!

Nice just spec’d out a $33,000 8 piston carbon rotor brake system for the trx, woot! Cant wait.
lol...yeah carbon rotors are pricey but I didn't think they were that bad wow!

I have a couple buddies that got sets for their tuner cars and they seemed to be high quality. I emailed the guy and he was asking me if they mount the same as the regular 1500 trucks since they haven't had a TRX to check out yet. Are the TRX brakes the same?

Almost positive they're the exact same brakes as a standard 1500.

same i need 17's. Let me know if they fit. lol

It won't be anytime soon, I just ordered my truck last Friday. But if/when I upgrade the brakes I will let you know.
hell ya, i ordered 5/5 and still nothing at all lol. Innov8 G500's are calling my name if i can get a 17's to fit. Im going to just order them and make em fit somehow. I guess you can shave down the caliper? aftermarket Brakes seem like a ways out.

I wouldn’t waste the time. The TRX brakes are not the same as the 1500
Are you sure?

And here are the pictures from the 2019 1500 (excuse the rust - she's been parked for a little while.... wonder why?):

Though the camera angle is a little off on the TRX measurement photo, both calipers measured the same between caliper mounting pins - about 9.75" center-to-center.

These sure do look like the same calipers to me.

They are not. Ram had to choose heavier brakes due to the weight increase.
