My 37" tire experience

So mine have more clearance than that fully in flatted. Just did it this week. Put the blue tape on and waiting to tow the boat and DD will get back. I also have 18x9 -12 though. But I have about a 1/4-1/2” I have the 1.5/1.6 eibach.
What tires/specs do you have? Have any pictures of fully flatted?

37x13.5r18 Falken Wildpeak RT’s. 8 PSI idk that looks to close for comfort. @blaster9 what does your jack trick do? Will it help? I might have to go to 0 PSI.

I’ll post before and after measurements for those looking to go with Eibach 2.7 and 1.5. Only drove it 15 minutes home but so far I love but need more time behind the wheel to give true review. (Plus they filled the 37’s up to 40 PSI so I’ll play around with that too) I have the sensors being adjusted Friday after some days for springs to settle and all.
So the floorjack let me get the tire up a little higher than if i was just using the OEM hoist. Once the OEM hoist stops lifting the tire, put floor jack and a board of wood under tire and jack it up an inch, then tighten OEM hoist, then jack up another inch & repeat until its all the way up there. Doesn’t make an earth shattering difference but it was nice to get it a bit higher

Also, get a decent ratchet strap (like 1k+ working load) and strap that F’er to the rear bumper to compress it a bit and give yourself 3/8”-1/2” of track bar clearance for peace of mind. Put some masking/painters tape on the track bar so you can keep tabs on whether it touches, & then go down there and tighten the ratchet every so often as the strap stretches.

Goes without saying u should have a portable compressor of some kind on board to fill the spare should u ever need it. I carry 2 compressors bc ive had my prior primary comp fail. 2nd comp is a cheapo super small harbor freight special stuffed under back seat. Just shove it back there and forget about it.

I’ll get better pictures and measurements by EOW. So far I’m loving it!

Looks great! Remind us what you've got going on here front/rear Eibach lift (2.7 or 1.6?) and which wheel offset & tires?
Stock beadlocks wheels just had the beauty rings powder coated black and black lug nuts, gives it a good contrast. Tires are 37x13.5r18 Falken Wildpeak RT. 2.7 front 1.5 rear Eibach springs. Newer tire from Falken, I have always gone with KO2 decided to switch it up and love them so far.

More clearance but man is this a bitch. These are on the larger of 37’s but will see when I drive it and hopefully it doesn’t rub. I can but more tension but will see how this does. Plus I would like to clean this up and make have a OEM style strap for it, like this. https://speedstrap.com/product/2-hd-3-point-spare-tire-tie-down-with-swivel-hooks/
That's way cleaner than my strap job haha -- nicely done!! Perfect size strap too. I think that speedstrap looks good but unless it has a way to prevent it from stretching and having to go down & ratchet it tighter every so often, i cant justify the spend.

Haha I like yours bc you can’t see it much. And yeah I agree I’ll keep playing with options and post updates if I find a cleaner way. The real solution is getting a panhard bar designed for 37’s lol. Foutz said not in their plans as of right now but I told them there is a market for it. Maybe we start a petition form haha

what email did you send to? I'll shoot them an email saying the same thing. TBH if they havent figured out there's a market for it then they're doing smthin wrong. They've got stuff on their site that they've prolly sold less than 5 of but somehow they thought it was a good idea. An adjustable track bar that's flattened like OEM is a no-brainer IMO.

Agreed jake@foutzmotorsports.com. They should make sure it has more clearance than the stock one too while we are at it lol

The only issue is that if you want to calibrate your speedometer to match the 37’s, it will disable the front parking sensors. So, you have to choose if you want an accurate speedometer or front parking sensors.
so to confirm, with the eibachs and 37s, if we DON'T calibrate speedometer - then parking sensors work fine? please confirm - i live in the city and have to have sensors!

Some of you have been following along, so I figured I would update on the latest! I am planning some trails and decided that I would feel more comfortable with additional sidewall, so as much as I liked the 20" wheel package, it was time to go back to 18"s. I ended up going with the KMC Impact in a 18x0 +0 weighing in at 28lb with a Falken Wildpeak 37x12.50r18. Total package was only 3lb heavier than the weld/BFG combo I was running previously. I have not driven it yet, but wanted to share some pics for comparison.

Factory non-bl combo weighing in at 94lb

NEW COMBO: KMC/Falken weighing in at 104lb (10lb heavier than factory non-bl combo)

Neat opportunity to compare the two tires side by side, in similar config.

So update on park sensors- called Granger Motors who does the Tyrant package which is 37’s and power upgrades and it’s kind of falsely advertised bc they told me yeah we tell customer speed will be off by 3 mph for the sensors to work.

Called National Speed who I am thinking of going with stage 1. They said they can’t do the sensors but they can change and correct speedometer. They unlock the PCM but I am unsure if that will result in the same thing we get with the tazer once they change tire size. So this could be a dead end if it’s up to ram to fix

Love the look. How do you like the eibach springs? i keep hearing mixed reviews on the ride.

Lago! My guy from YouTube! I watch your videos!

I had a 2021 and never modified it. Drove for two years on stock 35

Sold it and bought this 23 Lunar. Did a lot of research with goal of not changing the ride quality when adding front lift and 36. It truly rides same as stock. I’m super happy with it

The front spring alone is the way to go unless you want a rake or an lifted looking truck. I just wanted to not rub and to not ruin the ride with spacers
