I just got an email from Sharp Truck that they have 4 different designs of gatorback mudflaps for the TRX (they made the actual rubber flap tool less removable for offroading)......I just put my order through they are expensive but cheaper than washing my truck literally after every time I drive it and way cheaper than PPF or fixing all the dents and scratches that will come from all the shit that gets thrown up on the paint

Expensive is right! Holy Shit!
when you are the first and only company to offer a product you get to capitalize on the monopoly....I'm sure as other companies start to offer an option they will come down in price to around $300 a set similar to the other gatorback offerings, but you do get what you pay for and gatorback is the gold standard of mudflaps

What is the metal plate they mention? The pics look the same

the 2 most expensive have a metal plate that says "RAM" at the bottom if you look closely you will see it the second least expensive that metal plate is just plain black and in the cheapest option it is just solid rubber with no plate..

The purpose of the plate is to give weight and rigidity to the part of the mud flap that is hanging down and not attached to anything....The reason the ones that say "RAM" are more expensive is they have to pay royalties to use the "RAM" logo they aren't any better than the set with the plain black plate

They actually look pretty nice. I was concerned how front flaps would look.
There are a lot of gravel and cinder roads around my cabin in Williams so I need to do something more than ppl and ceramic coatings.
Has anyone put them on yet and have pictures?
Which ones are you getting?

I'm wondering if they'll come out with a TRX plate?

Thanks @Brad1331, just ordered a set.

Gatorback just got the okay from Ram to use their logo today, you can order them as of today but they won't ship out for a couple weeks....I ordered the ones with the plain black aluminum plate and I'll post pictures as soon as I get them installed

I’m ordering the plain ones. I’ll put a custom metal design on them if needed

Which ones did you get?
The same as Brad... plain. I don’t care about the badge, would have ordered these even if there was a Trx logo. Cheers

The price is insane. I called a hundred dealers to get a TRX at MSRP to save a buck, so don't see myself paying such a premium for some mud flaps. Hope the price comes down.

I like the discount "ploy"...these have never been on sale before but they already reduced the price 😆
