Lifetime warranty

Good luck with that!

They are always looking to find ways to make you pay, if they can remotely justify that your modifications in anyway could’ve caused the vehicle problems, then good luck trying to get the extended warranty to cover the necessary repairs
Agreed.... Most X warranties will use "commercial" or "Modifications" "tire size" to exempt themselves from a covered repair.

I am waiting for a price also , I always buy the max care when the vehicle is new , and I’ve been a mechanic 40 yrs lol, they have always paid for themselves, this truck having the SC and those shocks I am definitely getting it , front diff went bad on my 2012 @70k miles ,that would have been a few bucks and a pita to do, dropped it off 100 bucks , Bill was over 5000, they did all the ball joints and tie rods too.

Current vehicle status will not allow pricing yet. Once it's built, I can quote it for you.

Thanks for checking... will reach out when my truck is built, suppose to be delivered at my dealership in February so hopefully should be built by end of month.

There are plenty of VINs out there that are completed with window stickers, you could probably grab one of those and use it as a general cost reference for folks.

Try this one...

Nice one!! Thanks for sharing

Not knowing how much you drive or how long you plan to keep this baby, I went ahead and picked the unlimited mileage plans. If you need more specific, just shoot me an idea of how many miles you avg a year and how many years you plan to keep it.

In the second photo, you'll see what most dealers will try to sell this particular plan at and some will sell it higher.

Hope this helps

How long after you buy the vehicle do have to buy the warranty? I have never bought a warranty before, But never keep them past the 3/36k
This one I will keep for a while 🤔 ..

So if I'm reading this correctly, the 6yr/unlimited-miles/100-deductible is $2,800 dealer cost. That's pretty good pricing, even after adding $100 above dealer cost at $2,900

The Fidelity product is 10yr/100k-miles/100-deductible at $3,900 for comparison.

Is there any FCA product that goes longer than 6 years?

You can buy it at any time... look at the first picture at the right most 3 columns, that gives you warranty cost of the miles on your vehicle at the time of the warranty purchase.

So you can wait to get the lowest cost warranty until your truck is at almost 12k miles... HOWEVER, what folks need to remember is the year term of the warrant is NOT the date of when you buy the warranty, it's based off the date of when the vehicle was manufactured or it's original dealership purchase.

So don't think you can wait a year and rack up 12k miles, then expect to add a 6yr warranty that starts from the date you bought the warranty, the warranty clock starts from date of manufacture or original dealership purchase date.

Thank you for the info!

Thank you so much for providing this information!!!!!

Can you provide pricing specifically for the following using VIN 1C6SRFU93MN900479:
- 8yr/100k/100-ded
- 8yr/125k/100-ded

These are the two I'm really interested in and want to get close to exact pricing with the VIN above. Then if the product/pricing is right for the TRX I'm SOLD and will purchase from you directly!

The Fidelity warranty product is really good and allows you to take your truck to any certified repair facility regardless if it's Chrysler or not, but I would rather stay with FCA/Chrysler factory warranty if the price is right even if it only goes up to 8 years compared to Fidelity going up to 10 years.

Completely understand... this is price vin specific. So 100k is $2045 and 125k is $2880.

Looks great! I'm suppose to have my truck shipped on 1/24 and at my dealership in February. As soon as I have my window sticker I'll reach out to you directly with my VIN to get exact pricing.

Then once I take delivery of my truck in February we can work out the details for payment.

I'll message you directly to exchange contact info.

Thanks again!

Sounds great... just shout and I'll give you the number to my dealer, so you can call me direct. Good luck with your truck purchase.

I have seen dealers do this at no cost to their customer and in general, it works but you are handcuffed to that dealer for service. They can afford to offer it for free as their expensive shop rates and mark up on parts is extremely profitable.
Be cautious, read the entire contract, and understand all applicable scenarios you may experience with set terms.

Thanks for sharing your concern and you are correct you need to be extremely aware of the type of warranty you’re buying. The warranty that’s being quoted here is the FCA Chrysler max care extended warranty that can be serviced at any certified Chrysler repair facility, you are not required to go to a single dealership for service.
