2024 Ram TRX Final Edition
Hello Everyone!

I purchased my TRX Final Edition in Harvest Sunrise in August of 2024. I've had it for a little over a year, and I'm at about 23k in miles. I absolutely love my beast. So far, I've done a couple of slight modifications that I will list below:

Tazer DT- Amber DRL and other little tech features
No Limitz- remove speed limiter
Ravelco- kill switch
RamBar- Just purchased it used about a week ago. I'm going to repaint it and then install it
M&R cube lights
Spare Tire delete train horn kit
Tonneau cover

I believe that's about it. I am considering updating my interior ambient lighting to the kit that Oracle Lighting offers, and possibly installing power running boards.
Any other recommendations regarding upgrades/mods or even maintenance as my baby gets used over time?

Thank you all in advance!

I would look into IGLA and removing Ravelco before doing anymore mods.
With the Ravelco and the NoLimitz not allowing a new key to be made, how would they be able to turn it on?

No limitz can be unplugged, ravelco can be bypassed at the plug in a few seconds. They also don’t need to make a new key. They can clone/relay your existing signal. Tazer products and ravelco are not anti theft products, they are barely deterrents

Welcome to the forum that's a great color. I've only seen 2 in the wild.

Ravelco can be bypassed fairly easy and has caused wiring to heat up in the plug in some cases.

I'm not sure if no limitz is better than original tazer but it was more of a gimmick than an actual security device.

Yea, I’ve been learning as I go. A buddy of mine has a 2021 TRX and told me to get the Tazer. His then got stolen but thankfully was able to recover it a few hours after with no damage. Ravelco was recommended by our local police department stating that was the only “anti-theft” device they have dealt with that actually worked. So that’s where I’m at now trying to get more recommendations and ideas.

Nolimitz is something different than the Tazer. Not related and can be used in tandem. I mainly have the NoLimtiz for the speed limiter removal and the extra feature of blocking the RF hub was a nice extra feature. Granted yes I know it can be unplugged but you’ll have to make sure you have time to remove the screen and glove box so it’s not as easy as just removing the Tazer.

Unfortunately thieves can be quite efficient. Some of them watch the forum too so there's that aspect. Maybe we should be watching their forums 🧐. I'm by no means a security expert, just giving you some info.

Igla man is definitely the forum guru.

Someone can pop a window and be inside your truck without you ever knowing.

Minimum security measures would be igla, parking it inside, and keeping your keys in faraday box. You can add compustar (alarm) as a deterrent and to be alerted of activity. Drone can be added if you want tracking ability. Tracking could be used if the truck was stolen by towing. Another lower level option is installing a shock sensor to your factory "alarm". There is a device similar to igla that you can self install.

Might want to go inform them its garbage and IGLA is the only proven anti theft device and you keep factory options. Ravelco vehicles have been stolen since it came out. I even have videos on my youtube showing myself and others bypassing it with a cheap multimeter and some wire in less than 30 seconds while explaining it all.

Takes 3-20 seconds to remove the radio. Either grab the top and yank or remove 2 screws and yank. I can have the whole radio, dash components, cluster ect out and apart in about 30-45 seconds.

Yea, I just saw your video from another forum. I guess it is time to look for an IGLA dealer. Just sucks having to go through all this just to enjoy something you work hard for. Typically, I wouldn't care if it was stolen due to my insurance + GAP will actually take really good care of me, and help me considerably for the next vehicle, but I just love my truck too damn much and have only seen it once on the road in Harvest Sunrise. So, in other words I guess IGLA is the next step.

Thats why I hate bad business’s like them that are out for the money not the customers. There are a few installers around you. IGLAUSA.COM has a list. You can leave the ravelco plug in it and hide in the dash (they are known to heat up if the installer is shit) or have it removed completely (we do it all the time actually)

Now that we have security taken care of, are there any other tips, tricks, or recommendations?
In your uconnect, set your automatic parking brakes to on, then disable your neutral pull cable (several different ways to). Then enjoy it and the gas station visits

oh with 23k in miles in a little over a year I am a preferred customer at the gas station
