Thread name changed to Grilles and Grills.

Does it bother anyone else that half of the regular F150’s I see around have changed the grilles to a fake raptor one- F O R D. They should make the letters a little bit bigger, jeez. It’s not a raptor and you shouldn’t want your truck to look like an inferior truck (compared to the TRX anyway). Burn! To each their own, but I think it looks like ass (and not a good one).

I am just hoping people don’t start putting trx grilles on regular Rams, that will piss me off. I know the rebel has a similar grille (I know I can tell the difference as many of you can as well) to the TRX grille and I am fine with that because it looks good on that style of truck and they’re not trying to be something they’re not, it’s stock.

Sorry, just got back from a quick drive and saw 5 fake raptor grilles, it has to bother other truck guys too.

Cover it with chrome or put fake badges. None of our business.

To me its a fine line, I think " to each there own", but then have seen people with hellcat or cobra badges on one that's not, and think what a poser. The funny part about the people who put a cobra badge on a non Shelby mustang is anyone who knows what the badge means also knows its fake. Same with AMG/M anything, the only people who care about those badges know what they mean, and know when it's fake.

Yup, anyone doing that......is also living a FAKE lifestyle!!!!!!!
I saw an old lady driving a Chevy conversion van with HUGE Mercedes emblem on the grill. She was driving around, with her chin WAY up looking down her nose at all us unworthy people like she was a QUEEN. 3-4 years later, I am still laughing at that mental picture.

Saw a Toyota Taco the other day with 3 grill lights..........funniest thing I ever saw.
When we passed each other going opposite directions, he made it a point to not even LOOK at my truck! LOL!

It won't fit. These TRX look-alike grills are not the same size as a real TRX grill. So the opposite would be true - a peasant Ram grill won't fit on a TRX.
