Is this removable?

Does anyone know if this piece on the steering wheel is removable? Trying to get custom carbon parts made for the interior.

Yeah, there’s just a handful posts on the back. Tilt the bottom up as you pull it out so it clears the plastic part of the wheel.

Hope your CF piece fits better than the factory CF one. I took it apart trying to figure out why the hell it wouldn’t lay flat. And then just accepted it.
