I was thinking of trading in my old 2017 f150 super crew for the new trx. Or is it better to wait for a complete redesign of ram trx.

I wouldn't count on any "complete redesign" of the TRX. We are fortunate that they're reviving it at all, and who knows for how long. If I had to guess, they'll discontinue it (again) when the political pendulum swings back towards eco-friendly policy. So we may only have a year (or two or three) of the SRT TRX.
So my advice would be - don't wait. Grab one while you can. When they're available, that is.

I really like the truck, if God wills I want to buy one.
Me being in Houston Tx, I never ordered a truck before. How can I order one without mark up. I have patience I can wait for a year if that’s what I have to do to avoid mark up.
Sorry for dumb questions

If you can afford it buy it. There's nothing more they can add to make it better besides cosmetics. FYI your 2017 f150 super crew would barely cover taxes . I'd keep the Ford for daily drive or if you need a truck to haul/tow
TRX has crappy payload and worse tow rating.

Your best bet (being in Houston) is to order from Mark Dodge in Lake Charles LA. @AnthonyRI represents them - follow him for updates. They provide as much of a discount as you'll get anywhere in the country, and they're not far from you.

You never know what the future holds. A new TRX will bring a lot of smiles and joy to your life! So I say buy it.

I think the pendulum is being broken but either way, the TRX platform is still very new for the way Ram/Dodge operate. I wouldn't expect a new platform for many years.

Yea.. I am gonna trade my Lightning in for one and justify the negative equity with savings from one of the dealerships. Probably buy a used BMW electric for 20-25k to daily drive and then our 2006 F250 for towing

Second this. I bought my '23 from Mark Dodge - great experience. They are around 2 hours from Houston.

If you can please help me sir. How much you think the new 2027 Trx( tax and title )going to be?
Or to be more real if I I’m going to buy without mark up how much is the total price of truck? only option added is moonroof.

nothing firm yet but likely in the $120,000 region,,,,,,

IF, and I mean that in capital letters....IF the discount still holds as we have seen in the past, a base 2027 SRT TRX with pano/bed utility should (possibly!) come in around $105,000. The discount on that may reach up to $10,000 to $12,000, but we just don't know. Based on the past, I would think that truck, with Texas tax (6.25%) and the doc fees, to come in somewhere between $98,000 - $100,000. Give or take, probably give, $1,000.

Again, that is IF we see the same level of discounts we have typically seen with these trucks.

I think they already set the base price with desitation at ~$103,000. The truck is already at a Level 2 trim, so the only things we can likely add will be graphics, steps, pano, bed utility...maybe a few other things, but getting to $120k might be tough. Or are you suggesting with an ADM?

Wow. Yeah, unless the significantly limit orders we should see $10k-12k off orders. But yeah, assuming no discounts he should budget $112k.

They've already announced the base pricing.
$99,995 (base price, which includes roughly the new Level 1 package and red interior accents)
$2,595 (destination fee)

You can figure around $1,595 for the pano sunroof (using current RHO pricing).
Then somewhere around $10k-$12k discount from Mark Dodge.

So I'd expect it to be $92,185-$94,185 depending on discount. Then add TT&L as applicable.

The only other possible options (that I can currently think of) are currently priced as follows on the RHO:
  • Bed Utility Group - $945
  • Tri-fold Tonneau - $695 *OR* Bed-Mounted Tire Carrier - $1,095
  • Exterior Graphics - $495
  • Hood Graphics - $895
  • Engine Block Heater - $195
  • Running Boards - $1,195 *OR* Rock Rails - $995
  • Bead-Lock Capable Wheels - $2,495
  • Trailer-Tow Mirrors - $795
  • Trailer-Tow Group - $595
  • Towing Tech Group - $645
EDIT: And maybe the Rambar (which isn't an option on the RHO, but was on the TRX). Last I saw in 2024, it was priced at $1,895 but is probably $2,095 now.

other options that were available on the TRX:
  • carbon fiber package
  • advanced safety group
Carbon fiber is part of the base package on the SRT TRX now. And there's no such thing as ASG anymore, it's also included in the Level 1 package. You can't buy those components as a stand-alone thing on the RHO - they want you to spend $10k to get it all (or get nothing). Not a lot of people are a fan of the concept, but I can see why it makes sense for Ram. It's much simpler for their system.

Has anyone driven a RHO? If new one has same suspension (tuned for more weight) is there a noticeable difference from TRX to RHO? Or only something you would notice driving back to back?
