OK - I see the Ram build a truck website has the 2023 models added. Leads me to think Stellantis/Ram are getting serious about production, (No??).

So I selected a Hydro Blue with Level 2 package, tow mirrors, bed group, and trailer tow package.

This build shows $99,480 and then add the $1895 destination charge I think. Wow these things have skyrocketed in price. I was shocked.

That said, after following some of the tracking threads I'm totally confused. Are some trucks still holding 6, 7, or 9 months from order input???

What's a recent realistic average time from order input to delivery assuming no holds ??? 3 months???

Thank you for the info everyone provides on this site as I've learned a ton.

I was shocked to see the same configuration I ordered in 21, is now 15k MORE expensive in less than 2 years. INSANE. F Stellantis

I mean, there is a root cause of this and the initials aren't FSTLA, it's FJB... 🤕

I ordered my 2022 on December 1st 2021 and took possession on April 12st 2022.
This includes having it shipped via car hauler from Chicago to San Diego. So 4 1/2 months’ish
On another note just make sure that you put a deposit down on the truck ( I paid $2,000) and they provide you with a receipt based upon their quoted price. I did that and by the time my truck was ready to be delivered four months later it had gone up another $9000 which I did not have to pay, be I was price protected !

Good luck you going to have a nice in in a lifetime truck X 1000

I ordered mine 3 1/2 months ago and I was only just scheduled for production last week. They still have to actually build it and ship it to me. I would say 5-6 months at best

I had similar experience...ordered my 2022 TRX on July 7, 2021 two weeks prior to 2022 price announcement. I placed $5,000 down payment and agreed to pay 2022 pricing...I just wanted to get the order placed...expected delivery was mid December 2021(20 weeks).

I received a voicemail from my Ram dealership on October 27, 2021 (15 weeks) that the TRX was just delivered. The dealership sales manager stated he was shocked because the Ram corporate computer did not show my TRX as being built. The dealership charged me TRX pricing at the time of order placement (July 7, 2021).

Per my personalized window sticker:
Base Price $73,380
Silver paint. $. 200
Two tone paint. $250
Level 1. $ 3,495
Tonneau cover. $695
Running Boards $1,195
Destination charge $1,795

Total $81,010

6,100 miles so far, zero problems.

I've got my 22 lvl1 in 62 days, I'm well over 4months waiting for a Jeep JL, it was just scheduled for January

You did well in buying yours when you did. No differences between 2021 and 2023 except added corporate greed.

Corporate Greed?? You do realize that there's been a massive global supply chain shortage on parts over the past 2 years right? This along with massive shipping disruptions and inflation to the costs of raw materials (steel/aluminum/etc) have made parts much more expensive. Labor costs have also been driven way up over the past 2 years not just in the assembly factory but at all stages of supply and transportation. Ram has been one of the best companies at actually continuing to build their vehicles (with mostly full options I might add unlike Ford and GM who've been stripping options left and right) during this shortage, from what I understand that has a lot to do with paying more and investing more to guarantee parts supply. Interest rates aren't just up on the consumer side, the cost of capital for companies has risen dramatically too. I'll leave you to think about the root causes of this because I don't want to break the political rules but it's pretty simple to figure out if you've been paying attention.

He got more important things to worry about next year but these dumb manufacturers should of held their ground against this EV push nonsense. Let them exist side by side, I wouldn't mind having a EV as a daily and turn my gas car into a weekend warrior

I wouldn't say greed but they need to increase profits inorder to pay for EV's. They hired a lot of software people and need build battery plants and raw materials BEFORE they build a single car. I have no faith these new cars won't be buggy as hell when they first come out

I don’t know if this is different because it’s at the end of the year but when I ordered my truck in December 1, 2021 I went from BS (Build sheet) to delivered to the dealer in 10 days.

Take my word for it, I was on suicide watch during this part of the process, it’s cruel and it’s painful but the end result is way way worth it!

Thank all of you for the input. I had hoped that the TRX acquisition process would have smoothed out but the lingering shortages have made this process anything but predictable.
Now I need to decide on trading or try selling my low mileage, (only 39,750 mile) 2016 Ram. I hate dealing with the low ball tire kickers so I may see what the dealer , Carmax, Vroom or etc. may offer.
I'll probably need to sell my Ramcharger as well to keep my better half from going insane with me spending that kind of money on another toy. Oh well I guess you only live once.
Has anyone have any insight as to whether the Dodge Direct Connection Power upgrade kits will ever be released for the TRX's???????
