Greetings from America's Hat!

If you have dealer LOCK the RFH, it makes it impossible to steal. When the RFH is locked, you can not program any keys, EVER. the down side is, if you loose your keys, not only are you buying new keys, you are also buying new RFH. Have seen a couple times here where thieves tried to steal vehicle with locked RFH and couldn't. Had a couple where the thieves actually put vehicle in neutral and pushed down the street. The problem with that is in order for thieves to replace and program RFH, need to go to dealership and provide proof of ownership.

100% incorrect. There are a few ways to do it and there is a way to make new keys with a locked hub. The work around will be released and implemented into current programmers. It also does nothing to stop relay/clone thefts…

Oh, and they can just bring one that has keys programmed into them and swap it out pretty easily
