I think I have a successful install. As some of you know I’ve been battling some heavy rear end sag as a result of added weight. I started with Eibach rear HD springs and that was better but not the best, so now I’m testing the springs with the FMI rear bump stop and 1in spring spacer setup and so far the results are amazing. Long term testing needed. I would not do this if you do not have full time additional weight on the rear.

Didnt they say you’d have spring bind and all sorts of problems? Doesn’t look much different than our spring even with the spacer. Looks good man!

Yes they did say that, but I counted blocked out coils before and after the spacers and they are exactly the same in every way. Unless there is something I’m missing everything looks the same plus an inch.

Any noticeable difference in ride? how are the hydro bumps? Think they’re necessary if we’re doing the 3/4” spacer?

Feels better than just the springs. I’m assuming it’s a weight distribution thing. I romped on it pretty hard to work. No movement no weird sounds

Are both pics of spring with truck on the ground? If so, it almost looks like its better with the spacer lol

Have not bottomed out yet. According to FMI you have to have the bump stop for the 1in. I think you’d fine without it for the 3/4. I don’t wholly trust them since they said this setup was not possible.

I might be about to follow your lead on this. I took a 2-week vacation up to Wyoming, and every time we drove at night, people got pissy and flashed their brights at me.

Even with the HD rears and the 1.6" fronts, my front sits higher loaded down.

Very true. Whenever a company tells me something is def not possible and then we do it without incident, it make me very wary about how much they really know lol. Keep us posted on how it goes as this may also be in our future as well. My only real concern is high speed/ wash-out

I live with my fingers on the the light switch so I can flash back. It’s terrible

Did a 10 minute 75mph highway stint yesterday. No issues still
