I think I’ve been keeping up with your headers post on Facebook 😂
Congrats on the 10s tho! Very impressive

Went out and did some more logging and draggying last night to compare similar da as some of my runs pre headers and post. I think the headers honestly aren’t really adding much performance wise, just sounds considerably better. Similar da netted same mph in the 1/8th and 1/4 hits last night as pre headers when the da is matched up.

Following on this ace, very sick setup - I'll have my TRX back in about 2 weeks and I want to post some comparisons once I get it to the track. Doing a lot of similar things, but keeping the vehicle on 93 as it's my DD. Kong port, pulleys, throttle body, injectors, ARH headers/OR pipes (welding high flow GESI cats on), Magnaflow XMOD catback, also had custom grind cams made as well to give her that choppy sound (and hopefully pull some more horsepower out of the vehicle) and of course a tune to top it off. Dyno'd 607 whp with the XMOD on Monday, really interested to see the after dyno - shop did the baseline for a before/after so i'll have the dyno the day the car is ready to pick up.

Also im taking your advice and asking my techs about getting oem manifold gaskets

607hp on awd?

rwhp. the stock vehicle Hennessey tested made 585 whp, which is on par with 702 crank horsepower (585x1.2 for awd drivetrain loss)

the annoying part about putting this thing on the dyno is you have to pull the driveshaft to disengage the front wheels

Yeah. The numbers I’ve seen look like 20% loss in awd and 15 in Rwd

Got a new tune after taking some logs earlier this week from the dusterhoff camp. Did some logging with the new one tonight and yielded some good results. Think with some prep at the track Friday we should be able to get the blower only record

Hey Guy's Recently buttoned up my build ive been working on on my trx with very promising results.

Current Combo is a
:Kong Performance Ported Oem 2.4L Blower and Snout
:Kong Performance 108mm TB
:Injector Dynamics 1300cc Injectors
:Self Fabricated 4.5" Intake to Stock Airbox
:2.85" upper pulley (No Lower)
:JLT Catchcan
:Removed the Oem Cats and replaced with a set of Vibrant Resonators

Dusterhoff did all the remote tuning on this combo for me and we just street logged back and fourth so i do not have any accurate dyno numbers to share. but i can note at max load just over 100 mph the blower is producing 230 kpa or roughly 18.7#'s of boost

On E85 with this combo it left us a decent amount of headroom with the injectors and a little more to play with on the stock pumps (no BAP needed yet). I have a 2.65 upper on the way im planning on throwing on in a week or 2 and doing some more logging and runs to see if the pumps can keep up with the additional fueling needed from the smaller upper.

Fastest Draggy verified 0-60 mph ive seen is 3.28, Fastest 1/8th mile is 7.2 Seconds, fastest 60' is 1.72 seconds and the fastest 1/4 pass was a 11.1 but sadly my phone died before i saved that picture. Hoping to replicate next time i have the truck back on E85.
The Stock performance pages read a little fast so i try to verify all of this with the draggy.

Attached are some of the screen grabs of these numbers. Ill Continue to Update this as the Build Progresses aswell.
Why did you go with the ID 1300's vs the 1050s?

I would imagine so that he doesn't ever run out of fuel even if he continues to throw more power/boost at it.

So I got some headroom for later. Duty cycle on the 1300s is 80% right now at peak boost

AAD idler on today, new tune up from dusterhoff for the track aswell. Weather is cooperating today so hopefully it goes fast tonight.

Thank you for posting all of this information. I can see you’re having a lot of fun in the process.

I know I personally won’t go this far on this truck, but it’s great to see what it can do.

Interesting, I went with the 1050's but hopefully I'm ok. I won't have my truck ready until the 13th because we're waiting on Kong to send the blower back, they gave a 3 week ETA but hopefully it goes faster. Everything else will be done by the time it goes on, so then it'll just be tuned and ready to rock. We got the OEM steel exhaust manifold gaskets too, appreciate the mention on that.

Got the blower only record second hit tonight. See what we can do as it cools down

Sounds mean!!! Love it man. I'm going to be going for the same record but for the 93 octane gang. Whats your gas mileage on E85? Lol.

Only diff I'll have is custom grind cams which will be interesting to see how much cams actually make HP wise.

The same as 92 surprisingly. 9-10 doesn’t change much.
I’m curious aswell if the cam makes much difference on stock blower combos. I’ve heard mixed things on them on stock bottom ends
