So I'm looking at a Black truck with beadlocks....I do not like them....I don't want to let that hold me off getting the truck though....question is does the ring easily come off to be powdercoated?....I might just buy a set of stock wheels from someone when they come up and sell mine....or if an easy fix might just powder coat the ring....

It comes off easily. It does not come beadlocked from the factory, only beadlock "capable". You have to buy the actual beadlock ring separetely and then move the tire bead out to achieve true beadlock wheels.

Thanks, so pretty much like my Raptor....I'm not opposed to the wheels just the silver ring....am I to assume correctly the main wheel itself is a matte black?

No the wheel itself is gray, the ring comes off supper easy to get powder coated.

A few people have taken the rings off and changed colors. Its pretty easy to do. I have the black wheels and like them but I'd rather have the beadlocks personally cause I like the gray.

Sounds like a trade in the works...I think the both of you, like me, are massholes...

I like them gold with black rings.

If you like the look of the black wheels w a black truck and have no interest in using the beadlocks as a beadlock, why didn’t you just go for the standard black wheels?

I have an ordered 2022 but I'm impatient....I don't want the deadlocks to hold me up if I want a truck.....there was one in a RI dealer for MSRP but they lowballed my trade....ADM going in or out I guess....my 2022 is $5500 under sticker and I don't mind paying MSRP to get it now with my trade....I won't settle on a low optioned truck though.....the search continues....
