What did you do to your TRX today?

Are we sure about this? No way they could find out?
Yes my friend who is the service manager advised me of everything they would check. Obviously the log when they scan the pcm would show something, but physically every thing would look the same. I'm not to worried about it.

Looking forward to watching your video. I’ve watched some of your others and you do a great job! I am interested in this pulley kit and not concerned about the cost and feel I should be able to easily do the work. If it is easy enough to swap back to stock I may install one too

Thanks for the nice words about the videos, I really appreciate. I'm new to making videos and editing and all. Yah we shall see how it goes. The instructions say 2 hours, but there are less steps for our trucks rather than the Hellcat cars.

I’d love to put a pulley on but I’m still gun shy. I’d hate to throw my heck of a deal on an extended warranty (still $2500) down the drain. All of that said, it still is calling to me!

By the way, I thought if you when I went to JiffyLube to get an inspection for my TRX before I could title it in state. Hope your business is doing well!

right there with you......waiting waiting waiting....while trucks ordered after me are already complete....and my build date has already surpassed. Awesome.
Well my truck is done...its been sitting in Michigan for two weeks now collecting dust

I "fixed" my steering wheel. The steering wheel is easily the worst part in the entire truck. Whoever thought putting Alcantara on the wheel (especially the top, where I prefer to grip) is a moron.

I tried various steering wheel covers, but it was hard to find that one that fit, and I think they all look cheap anyway.

The wrap is leather, and it is now more comfortable, less slippery, and slightly fuller than the original.

And yes, I freely admit my homemade remedy is also janky and cheap-looking, but hey, it's mine, and it works. Added bonus: I get the red strip back that I enjoyed in my Raptor as a visual indicator of steering orientation.

it’s yours, you do what you want. This is what I did to protect the alcantara.

How in the world did you get that damn thing on? Those 15" covers seemed way too small.

All of the materials I used are adhesive-free (leather tennis grip and tape that only sticks to itself), so in theory, it won't damage anything on the wheel. We'll see, I guess!

I left it inside the truck, in direct sunlight for a couple hours. Once it was hot, she went on with considerable effort.

I'm with you on hating the alcantara on the top of the wheel. I only have 7,000 miles on my truck, and it's already starting to get a 'sticky' gross spot where my hand always sits. Did you talk to any upholstery shops before putting that on to see what pro solutions are out there? I really wish Ram had just put carbon fiber across that top arch. I'm also not a fan of the steering wheel covers, so may end up going this home-made route. Tennis racket leather has a pretty nice feel.

Well, I finally took the Rambar off. I drove it for two days and missed that f#cker bigly. It just adds character in a good way. Kinda like the “Fall Guy” but much better. For two days I felt like every other truck out there. Some a$$ wipe said he “loved my Raptor”. Douche bag. My Rambar literally was installed 2 hours later LOL. I did not like the Rambar when I first seen it on the interweb. But once I seen it at a dealer while waiting for my truck I had to have it. I have seen so many of the after-market setups and nothing really gets my juices flowing.

How about an update on this? Was it difficult to install? Did you get a tune also? You said you now have 13 lbs boost. What was it before the pulley?
There's no tunning, so if anything goes wrong I'll swap things back over. The dealer may see an overboost spike, but at that point they will need to figure out why it happened with all the stock parts on the truck!

Any videos or feedback on how the truck runs with the new pulley setup?

Did the TRX's first oil change this morning at 500 miles. Easy job. Not sure how many of you guys do your own oil changes, but I enjoy it. I know I'm doing the job with care and it lets me check out everything under the vehicle at the same time. The TRX job was easy, much better locations than the Raptor for no messy skid plates.
