ADD Phantom Bumper W/ BD Light Install

. . .appreciate the time and detail you've shared man - actually about to pull the trigger on this bumper and go the Rigid lighting route instead.
However, big question is - how easy is it to access the Oil Cooler drain plug and Oil filter for oil changes? Going to install the ValvoMax drain plugs on both Oil Pan & Oil Cooler prior to installing bumper.
I bet it's in the stock location since there isn't a winch. On my SF, I can pretty easily access it but mine has the relocation kit. It would actually be pretty easy to take it off the bracket to drain the cooler but I doubt that I do.

I think the Phantom is the best looking bumper but I needed a winch. I thought about trying to mod it to work with a winch but decided to just take the easy route.

Yes...I realize I didn't help with you question at all...lol...

Attaching a couple different photos. Extremely easy to access both with this bumper. I also use Fumoto valves on all my vehicles.

No oil cooler relocation with the Phantom as you mentioned.

. . .the pics help - the 90 degree Oil Cooler drain plug turn is the gotcha IMO. The oil filter looks like there is room to get an arm up in there - since I use K&N oil filters which has the 1" bolt on the top, it would be easy to remove/install.

I finished the install of my Phantom bumper this week. The instructions are pretty good for aftermarket parts instructions. I've had to deal with much worse. To reiterate and add to @jashearer 's comments...

I too was missing hardware. I checked before removing my stock bumper and would recommend anyone else to do the same. I contacted ADD and they quickly sent me out a whole new set of hardware.

You'll get 4 bezels for parking sensors but you only use 2 on the most outside sensors. The other 4 sensors you just use the stock bezels. The instructions are unclear about that. Mark the orientation of the sensors on the back of the sensor and don't mix up the location of each sensor and your sensors should work fine on the new bumper.

Regarding the 2 large allen head bolts that bolt the bumper to the frame that are blocked by sensors, we took a cheap allen wrench and just cut the short side shorter so it would fit behind the parking sensor (after some head scratching).

I had to cut one small bolt and add washers to two other small bolts but other than those small things the install was pretty straight forward.

Ideally, you're going to want a friend or 2 at least to help with taking off the stock bumper and with putting on the new bumper.

Looks great! What light set up did you go with?

Nothing crazy for lights. I rarely if ever off-road at night and especially high speed off-road at night. The cube lights are Baja Designs Squadron Sport and the 12" light bars are Beijing Designs (Lasfit). The Lasfit actually perform pretty well for $50 lights. I'll most likely use them for the Phantom rear bumper too.

Anxious to see pics and feedback from the phantom rear.
