NH Overland Aux Switch Mount review

Installed mine today only wish there was a cover for the Aux side‼️ Other than that great product and exactly what I needed‼️
I should have ordered the fuse box so I would have a cover‼️ I just ordered it separately should be here in a few days‼️

If I'm not mistaken I think it's supposed to have a clear cover on the AUX side, maybe yours got shipped without one? I just checked the very first post by Fifty, it shows one in his pics.

I stand corrected ‼️ It comes with a black cover that I put in the garage by accident ‼️🤦🏾‍♂️ I still have the fuse one coming I'll swap out as the cover is better and looks nicer ‼️

Wiring done pending the experts critique here. I could’ve cut them shorter I guess….but I can always take some off, can’t put it back.

Thoughts? What’s the worst that could happen? A wire gets cut on something, blows a fuse?

Looks great! I'd throw a few zip ties on the wires to create a loom of sorts, but that is all! Congrats!

I was doing my leg workout in the garage this morning and somewhere between sets it turned into a wire clean up job. I ran the ARB switch afterwards so it needs redone and I need a longer Cutoff switch positive lead to mount the switch so I will clean it up at that time.

Awesome bracket Austin.

I did mine this morning! So much better. Must have.
Nice, how are you getting the "angled" approach for your wires? Mine come off the terminal perpendicular which does cause some spacing issues. Hasn't been an issue, but I prefer to prevent as much wire bending as possible.

Well to start the picture you posted looks really good with your power wires on the fuse box side. But the angle comes from having a lug small enough to give you some movement and I cut the wires shorter each spot so they would naturally tend to angle or lay like that. On the ground block I ran 3 leads on the headlight side of the block to keep wires away from fuse box lid.

Yours make mine look like a 3rd grader did it. Now I am just embarrassed.
I was an electrician on submarines for 20 years. I’ve wired a lot of sh$&. 😂 Also the fuse block option although not needed just makes it look different

Thank you for posting this a few months back... I started the process to finally get around to getting my lights installed.
Quick question for those with the trailer steering option. It only has 4 AUX switches, but I have all 6 Aux wires??? Is this normal?

Pic below...I did not have any higher than 20 AMP fuses, but I plan to install the BrawlerFab behind the Grill lights with BD LP6 lights and the Oracle lighting side mirror ditch lights., so I doubt they would pull more than 20 AMPS. I went ahead and wired all 6 wires regardless...

Yep. I assume they just wanted to standardize the harness up there so we still got all 6. I just cut them back and taped them off since they do nothing. My setup is a little simplified anyway.

Anyone have the switch mount + fuses installed along with an afe momentum gt cai? I am planning on doing both tomorrow but it is looking like i might run into a issue with available real estate under the hood around the fuse box.

Also, great write up @Fifty , thank you!

Dang. I have an S&B in the box.

I’m gonna pm you my number maybe you can FaceTime and I can help
