If you are doing some slower back country overlanding or trail driving this to me is a must. I watched a TRX in front me driving down the trail and the large rocks seem to hit the shocks alot! There are a few options but I just ordered these.

I like these but worry that they will catch and hold lots of small stones/dirt. Can anyone chime in with experience?
 
I almost pulled the trigger on these when i first got it but it looks like you lose a solid inch of clearance btwn shock & ground. We dont have much to begin with so i was hesitant. Post up some pics & install woes once you’re done!

That was a discussion I had with the accessory guys here. The other options have more open space and less weld coverage. I felt that stronger was a fair trade for taking more care to clean. But you do have a valid point.
 
Let us know if the front section becomes a rock collector!
I have a feeling it might. They did design it with a hole on the bottom and you can see the one on the side. It will be interesting to see if it is enough. It may be hard to see but it if you look close at the first picture you can see a ding at the bottom. I am glad I did this.
