Brawlerfab behind grille lights mounts

It was a challenging install for sure! Just glad I had my dad to help me and didn't try it on my own. A second person on this install makes a big difference!
Did mine by myself, but used Rigids as it was designed and it worked flawlessly. Clean install though. IMO, these should’ve came like this.

Hello. Does anyone have access to the "very detailed instructions" that were supposed to have come with the kit? My installer has my truck apart and has no clue how to install. I see no instructions on their website either. Getting charged shop-time now so if I don't get them within the hour they are going to reassemble and charge me all the shop time. They said far from straightforward how to install without instructions and are refusing to try to figure it out. Appreciate any help. Have also e-mailed brawlerfab.

@DIABLOPOWER702 , can you help?

Geez. Doesn't sound like a friendly experience.

I blame myself. They told me there were no instructions in the kit but I told them everything I'd read said the install is very straightforward. I assumed wrongly they could figure it out. Don't blame them for not wanting to cut into a $100k truck with no instructions. I would suggest that brawlerfab post all their install instructions on their website to avoid situations like this and to give installers an opportunity to review them in advance and plan any tools, shop-time, etc. needed (like a 7" hole saw).

Thanks again to the forum!

I reached out to @BrawlerFab

The install is super straightforward. Especially for a shop, I can’t imagine they’re having an issue.

Just wanted to reiterate. The install is super straightforward. I wouldn’t let a shop touch my truck, if they’re were unable or unwilling to work on my truck. Especially if you told them all of this in advance of dropping the truck off.

Thank you - appreciate the pics. I think the main issues were placement of the holes and exactly how/where to relocate the windshield wiper reservoir (absent instructions). Was dumb of me to ask them to proceed without instructions, but with all your help, they're good to go and obviously if they do something wrong that is misaligned with instructions, its on them.

I find it interesting that this was hard for a shop. I thought it was pretty straightforward. Granted, I had the pictures from @DIABLOPOWER702 , but that was really all I had. Good luck! Hope it comes out awesome!

Yeah I think they just weren't going to go digging for pics and I wasn't able to find any instructions online either. Your truck looks incredible in the snow - hoping for a similar one soon!

It's a little unfortunate, that this was my first light mod. As the ones after this I did videos. Perhaps I should open or modify this thread to include all the photos.

Glad it got sorted.... Not sure how we missed including the installation guide in the box but that's no excuse. We are in the process of adding the installation guides to our website so this doesn't happen to someone else. Soon we will include a QR Code that will direct you to the installation guides which will be much easier to follow as they are in color and can be magnified to see detail.

Thanks to everyone that jumped in to help....much appreciated!

Bill

Truck turned out Great! I have instructions that are pretty straight forward but mine states a 6” bit on the main instructions and an addendum page that says 7” I was just curious what size hole saw you used.

I used a 6” hole saw on mine and my buddies Rex. But I’d ask @BrawlerFab if the kit has been changed since mine.

Sounds good thank you for the fast reply. I was going to install the LP6 Lights but they won‘t mount up as nice as the Ridge lights. So I ordered the Ridge lights today. I have a lot of pics I will post once I’m completed with everything hopefully it will help others as your pics were very helpful. Thanks again!!

Nice garage bro. Can’t wait to see the finished product. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask.
