The family and I are about to take off for a cruise so I wanted to secure my truck in my garage. I only have had it a little over a week and haven’t attempted this yet because the height sketched me out. It was tight, like really tight. The shark fin looks like it might have cleared but to be safe I had my two adult children sit on the tailgate to compress the suspension a little to make sure I would be safe. 🤣

The door opening height is around 6’10” from the garage floor. MOL

Lol even tho you made it fit it does not look like it fits :ROFLMAO:

Wow, that doesn’t look it fits. Make sure the kids sit on the tailgate when you back out!

Nice glad you were able to get it to fit. I've started taking measurements of my garage. Height wise I think I'm good and I'll have about a foot between the truck and the garage door if I move my tool boxes and random crap along the back wall. It's going to be interesting trying to get mine in the garage too.

Mine would be close if I removed my workbench and cabinets on one side but then either my Wife's Audi or my Golf Cart would have to be outside....

I see you live in Florida so I assume you get little if any snow. Just be careful if you do, as it has a tendency to collect at the garage door and lift your vehicle in the air and into the door. I had a 84” door with and a Power Wagon that was 81” tall. Many a sleepless snowy night.

Enjoy it.

Never thought about this. I only have a half inch to spare height wise currently so I’ll have to be careful come the snow season!

Tight is alright!
I have about 2" between the tailgate and the garage door. 1" is as good as a mile !

Just make sure you don’t drive over it before you shovel it or it’s a nightmare. I ended up making my opening bigger and went from a 7’ door to a 9’.

Wow what did that set you back?

Does anyone happen to know the stock height with the fin or leveled with 37’s? I’m still waiting but it’s going to get mine but it’s going to be close.
