Just got the truck back from the shop. Too excited had to share some teasers before I take some proper pics and spill the beans on the build. Enjoy

I still have not gotten the “service suspension” code, but a trip to dealer for that and torque check after 500 miles and im 💯 ready for the trails. Have the weekend of Sep 10th planned with my buddy and his bronco wildtrak for a run from Fallon to Tanopah NV. Looking forward to providing a review of my first off road run in the beast.

Love the build! Hows the ride compared to stock? Feels alot slower now with 37s?
The ride is great, still need to recalibrate the suspension, it doesnt feel any slower, although it most definitely is lol

Pretty rad weekend. My buddy and I did a run from Fallon to Tonopah and back. About 250 miles off road and 8ish hours of driving in one day. Got a little bit of everything, dust storms, torrential downpours, lightning, sand storms…you know…the usual stuff 😂, truck ran great. Only the occasional “service active dampening system” message. Iirc it came on 3 times, each time randomly (not after a large dip), and I was able to clear it by simply doing a restart. This truck is such a beast. I ran it in baja with the stability off and left the trans in auto, I enjoy the speed at which the auto drops gears when you slow down aggressively. The truck doesn't let you forget its heavy, but to my surprise, it had no problem turning in and changing direction. I wouldn't call it agile, but it boogies through the corners and a power sliding sideways exit is only a poke from your toe away. Really happy with this white whale, my profile name for the truck is Moby’s Dick 😎

Awesome truck man. How bad was the third brake light mount install? I keep seeing conflicting information. The instructions make it look simple, but people are saying that the headliner needs to be dropped?!

I paid a tech to do it. My dudes at my local bmw speed shop work on raptors for their customers, and the tech who did the install specializes in electronic wiring, so it was straight forward for him. I do think the headliner needs to come out slightly to run the cable. My radio sits in the upper dash cubby. The actual third brake mount is easy too, no cutting iirc, just bolts in.

Love this truck, big fan of the chase lights. I’m looking to do something similar once they make a bracket that works with a bed cover.
