Need some opinions... Tailgate R A M ghetto mod

Don't judge it by my cuts (I can do better, just didn't want to spend a bunch of time making anal cuts... On something I know isn't permanent.)

Don't judge it on the color either, this is some left over carbon blue wrap, from a jet-ski project.

I found what I think will be a decent vinyl (A matte 3m blue metallic)

Thought I would hate it, and just peel it off and be done with it... But I think I might order the new vinyl, and give it a shot.

What do you think?

Thanks, That's kinda where I'm at with it, don't love it... but don't hate it enough to give up just yet.

I ordered the new vinyl, was less than $15... I guess I'll give it a shot.

I tried basically the same look, with pinstripe tape...But I suck at pin-stripping and gave up after half a letter.

When you say "Templates saved" does that indicate you have a vinyl cutter? or?

Yup and it is a permanent vinyl also. So should last 6-10 years but can remove it if you want at any time just like the factory graphics.

I know your question isn't directed at me..... But I think a vinyl that closely matched granite... with the black relief would look awesome.

I like it. It would also look good pinstriped.
What about a black carbon fiber with blue weave?

To each his own... But I don't like red interior accents, on a non red truck, so I would recuse myself on that.

I think a granite pin... or a full granite insert (like my example) would be killer.

I think I got this off of Ebay, easy vinyl stickers already precut for the letters. Wish the blue was a bit bluer and the red a bit closer but I like it better than the black!

If you are gonna do blue as an accent then yes!

Red? Your truck is blue correct? That’s why I said a black carbon with blue weave.
