Truck Guns

I have a Cane Corso thats 1 year old and 120 pounds of fur missile fury that likes to move to the drivers seat in my current truck. Need him to stay put now because I don’t want him wrecking the interior on trx

Vehicles make an exceptionally poor holster when you’re not there. Find a comfortable IWB holster and wear it ALL the time. Get used to it and you’ll never know it’s there. I own a gun shop, too many guys loose their guns from truck holsters.
Totally agree - not real accessible on your person if you need it when you leave it in your truck.

It's Definitely easy to do!!! Granted, we're not likely to be put into a situation where it's a big deal....but it is a pucker factor when you realize it....oh sh*t! Haha. Especially since I have a heavy foot and a tuned diesel! I do love my Radenso radar detector for that reason. 😉 It's being comfortable as you said that makes it essy!!!!
Ok, I need to look up Radenso radar.
Haven’t heard of that one. My last unit died about 5 years ago, when I was still working and driving a lot. I still tend to speed but rarely have a pressing schedule so I speed a little slower 😂

I have the S&W Bodyguard in my pocket 100% of the time for when I leave the truck. It’s in my pocket when I’m driving as well. The 19x is in addition to it, immediately available and more rounds.
I tend to wear cargo pants and shorts with bigger pockets so the Bodyguard is easy to conceal and get to.

Truck guns. Folder is a 9mm 5” barrel that takes glock mags, suppressor is pending approval. Now wears a trijicon mro
Purple skull gun is a 300blk with surefire socom suppressor and aimpoint micro

Then I open carry a 1911 or glock
Very nice!!!
I try to avoid the drama of open carry although plenty do where I live. Seems someone is always making a big deal out of it. I’ve got friends that do but most wear bigger/baggy shirts so they’re still somewhat concealed.
I’m also looking for a rifle rack for my AR’s and 6.5 Creedmore. I’ve seen some for behind the seat but haven’t got too serious about looking yet.

I haven't seen this topic come up yet. This is a Glock 19X that is my "Truck Gun" in my RAM 2500. It's on a Vulcan magnetic mount that has worked very well and the gun has never inadvertently fallen off. I plan to use the same setup in the TRX unless somebody has some better options that I haven't seen.
Anyone start looking at options for the TRX
You may have to give up some bed space but this should keep you safe.

I carry in all my vehicles, buying this truck made me buy a new handgun.
This will be going in my trx if it ever gets here.

I prefer to carry on my person on my motorcycle or truck as I don't want to (a) freak out law enforcement if I get pulled over, (b) fiddle with my firearm as I'm exiting the vehicle (e.g., put in holster). I simply use a leather blackhawk holster and carry a Sig P365 XL either on the side or back.

I have had to pull out my conceal carry once in self defense. While riding my harley someone pulled a firearm out on me and pointed it at me for a good 5 seconds while I was slowing down for a stop (I was minding my own business and doing nothing). He had a blank stare on his face and was scary as @#$@#$#.

I turned at the next stop light, pulled over about 1 block down, called 911. (pulled firearm out and kept in my pocket - I was in the city and some people around and didn't want people think I was a bad guy). I informed the 911 operators that I was carrying.

Cops came, found him, and turned out it was a BB gun. (looked real to me). Turns out the guy was mentally ill.

Scary situation as I could have justifiably shot and killed him. Still glad I was carrying.

I carry a springer professional rail. Wilson makes great stuff. I’m looking at the doublestack 9mm compensated nighthawk with an rmr
