Calling on all the smart people out there, looking for advice. I want to put a set of Fuel 20" wheels with an offset of -18 and Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my truck. Can I use 35/13.5/20 without rubbing or do I need to stick with 12.5? I don't plan on leveling the truck and want to make sure I won't get any rubbing or rip off a finder under compression. I doubt I will ever jump the truck but might occasionally take it off road.

…….I’ll send over an expert to help

Checkout the thread wheels and tires, yes it works no rubbing

I read through most of that thread but it seemed to be mostly questions about 37" fitment.

Custom Performance who started the thread put 37x13.50 open country Toyo M/T R20's on his TRX on a Fuel 20x9 +20 offset wheel. No leveling kit, no mods to the suspension whatsoever. On the stock suspension with no rubbing or trimming whatsoever. Toyo's website lists those tires at 37" high and 14" wide, a huge tire. Nitto Ridge grappler 37x13.50 according to their website is 36.77" high and 13.58" wide, a little smaller tire. The secret in his opinion is to stay as close to stock offset (+19) as possible. This is not a question but a guy who did it and it worked. I don't know if a -18 offset would rub or not. Your moving the wheel out almost 1.5 inches compared to stock. But with 35" high it might work, I don't think the width is a problem again I'm not sure.

Nitto Ridge Grappler 35x13.50 R20 specs: 34.76" high 13.58" wide.

This is the thread below;

PS: I plan on putting a Foutz leveling kit (from leveling kit, rear spring spacer 3/4") and Vossen HF 6-4 20X9.5 +15 offset wheels with Nitto Ridge Grapplers 38x13.50 R20 on my TRX when I get it.
