Just got my truck and first thing I noticed was that my hood is crooked. It’s not horrible, but noticeable to me for sure.

Doesn’t line up with the fender and the plastic hood vent doesn’t sit flush. Dealer said shouldn’t be an issue as a warranty claim.

Any one else have this issue?

had to look at mines real quick. Mine fortunately did not come with such issues. Hopefully they take car of it.

Unfortunate but if your handy it's an eazy fix‼️ I would have made the dealership fix it before taking it, it's all of a few minutes to fix‼️

This thread might help if its just the height of the front of the hood:

It is a easy fix although here's my question. How is the dealer not catching this and fixing it. I dont believe it's on the PDI but still how can you look at it and not see the gaps. Not hard to "exercise some common sense." Legit lazy M F'rs everywhere nowadays.

PDI's are a joke for most dealerships. Rip the plastics off, do a quick once over, spit shine and its good to go. Also this is Stellantis/FCA build quality we are talking here..no surprise. My factory ordered Charger had a crooked hood, big paint blob in drivers door, and ripples down the tops of all four doors (which you could really see through the side mirrors). Don't look things over with a fine tooth comb... it can be very ugly.

Mine came the same way, fixed it the same as you did!

Simple…they go as quick as possible to have 2 cigs on their break instead of 1

In 2017 I had my new C7 Z06 in for a TSB windshield replacement. As they worked on it, I walked around the shop, watching a couple of kids playing grabass, talking on their phones, whooping and hollering.....as they changed the oil in 2 other Z06's ($180K worth of cars). Not paying attention to anything they were doing, not focusing on what they were doing. 20% of the good techs at the dealerships do 90% of the work. The rest are useless and PDI techs are USELESS and the simply do not care !

First its the employees, second its the management. Employees will only get away with what management allows.
