Put in my order last Monday for a base TRX. Asked my dealer two days later to add the level 1 package as well as the running boards. He said once an order is accepted they typically can’t change anything.

Just looking to see if anyone has any high quality interior pics of the base TRX.

Base seats more comfortable than the leather and will wear better as well. You made a great choice. A base TRX is awesome. No BS. All Brut.

The only thing that’s cloth is the butt pad. The rest is leather.

Is there a power outlet in a base trim truck?
Not USB or 12 V but rather a power outlet

Couldnt agree more on the base interior. In some pictures I wasnt sure. In person I was a big fan! This truck is a wild truck and one that may never be built again. Why not have a little fun with the red and black interior? Different than the all black interior most vehicles come with today. With that said, in my 20's I had a TT Dodge Stealth and C5 ZO6 which both had red interiors so take it with a grain of salt. 😁

Been driving one for a month now. Just never looked for the the outlet. Found it. So far I drove mine 4500 miles since Dec 20th. I can vouch for the base seats being the comfiest seats I've ever had. Prior to this I had the 802A Raptor and the seats on top trim Raptor dont hold a candle to the base trim TRX ones. That's why I'm puzzled when users here and on FB complain of seats being uncomfortable on level 1 or 2. I really have to try the leather seats to see what the whole fuss is about.

Thanks for the feedback!

I took a 650 mile round trip same day and my ass never got tired. Only thing I hate about having a base model is I still wanted some options.
Ya I wanted a level 1 and sunroof, so my next order will have those options. Would be nice to have heated steering wheel and seats to keep my butt warm for this cold winter.

If I could have gotten a base trim in black I would have really considered it. Winter plus leather seats = cold ass!

See I want Adaptive Cruise, blind spot, park sensors, surround view cameras. In a base interior however that’s not even possible to add any or all of those.

So this morning was 18 degrees here and I remote started for maybe 30 secs or 1 min and got in and the seats weren’t even cold to me at all. Now I did use some gloves for the steering wheel for about 5 min. I know up above it says the butt pad is cloth and the rest is leather. However to me it’s the butt pad is like a mesh material and he surroundings are more like a water proof heavy layered vinyl. But just my 2cents

Man I wish my level 1 would have came with the base interior. I really did not want the leather seats. I wonder if the base interior would just swap right in?

Honestly I don’t see why it wouldn’t. Only thing I can see is the the passenger seat loses all its power features it goes back to manual operating seat. Then of course the heating seat buttons wouldn’t be working either.

I really dig the base interior. Would just be nice to get some heated seats and steering wheel. How cool would it be if Ram jail breaks the TRX ordering like they have the challenger/charger?

Secondary question, does the base trim have a reverse camera. I get that it can’t have the surround camera but backup cameras are getting to be standard equipment anymore.
