All kidding aside, that was really just my weak attempt at some Bambi humor.LOL maybe two outta four
Well, life happened and I was not able to complete behind the grill setup this weekend. Tomorrow is another day.
I must say, everything has been spot on thus far with the hardware, instructions and installation. @Boosted has done this before, I can tell. My OCD with the light adjustments and optimum projection kept me completing the project today. You cant adjust the lights once the grill is on and you need darkness to set the lights. Fun project.
Like most things, taking shit apart is easy…putting it back together is another story.Looks good so far. Just got notification my brackets shipped. Can’t wait to get the lights in. How hard is it removing the grille?
Now I remember why you’re talking so long in the install…. Your installation guide has 5 step 6’s in it!Like most things, taking shit apart is easy…putting it back together is another story.
Step 6 was the best! I can run this project into a four day event without my wife even knowing about step #6!Now I remember why you’re talking so long in the install…. Your installation guide has 5 step 6’s in it!
If you’re talking about a JLT catch can , yes it clears and does not interfere with the lines. This looks promising! One question on the wiper fluid reservoir location. I run a catch cab coming in the passenger fender. Does the new location of the wiper fluid bottle interfere with a catch can/lines?
Something for Fifty??
Very nice work Paul! You can do my installs for me anytime!I forgot to post the final results on this thread for @Boosted
I love the way the lights turned out. The project was not too difficult if you have any mechanical inclination.
Cutting the holes was a little scary but worked out perfect (take your time). Taking the grille off took about 20 minutes because it was my first time. Follow the instructions to the “T” (omit step #6 entirely though) and you will be good.

That's a great question! Mine have stayed pretty clean but I do something a lot of you wont do and that is run my truck through the car wash 2-3 times a week. Helps having a monthly car wash membership....lol. For everyone else, I would think spraying it down with a hose would take most of the dirt/road grime off but if needed, you could easily remove the top cover above the grille and radiator support to gain access from above or just use a small foam paint brush through the grille. What's the best way to clean the lights when they're behind the grille? Tedious at all?
I believe there is enough room there to run both however I have not tested this yet. If you could send me a picture of where the filter is under your hood (several different angles and one from above showing as much behind it as you can), I will try to answer your question. Will this kit interfere with running the B Woody CAI?
Thanks for the quick response. I havent received my truck yet but the intake is one of the things I have in my shop waiting for the truck haha. I should be taking delivery within 2 weeks and the intake will be put on prior to taking delivery so I should be able to take pics soon.I believe there is enough room there to run both however I have not tested this yet.
