For those of us a little more concerned about urban obstacles vice off-road ones, does anybody have a suggestion for quality, structurally strong push bumpers? Ideally one that could withstand a pit maneuver? I have only found 2 potentials, by Go Rhino and Setina, but can't find any good information on how much they can actually withstand.

Any other ideas?

I'm partial to this one. But I'm having a heck of a time finding it for sale online. Might have been a custom job.

Here's some inspiration in case you decide to go custom.

I’ve seen more than a few pieces of GoRhino equipment fall apart on the trails. I’d say stay away.

All the cops around me run Setina bars, for whatever that’s worth.

A proper PIT is going to require fender protection more than bumper.

Go look at pit training cars.

Gentlemen, thank you so much for the replies thus far.

@Eighty, the Mad Max one is a winner if I can find it. lol @mfitzger16, I also appreciate the note on Setina vice GoRhino; will look more closely at that option. @Fifty, I don't anticipate actually DOING a PIT; just figuring any protection capable of withstanding one has got to be more structurally sound. Finally @04Ram2500Hemi, I did look at ADD but they do not appear to offer what I am looking for?

In any event, the search continues. More replies are of course most welcome.

Bumping this thread in case anyone has heard of new solutions? Setina I think would be the way to go, as that is generally what all the cops use. However, they unfortunately don't offer a model that will fit the TRX (which is unsurprising, since it's not like any PDs use a TRX).

Does anyone else here have any actual experience with this application?

something like this? it's very subtle tho. Not sure if the fabricator can have the push bar to extend more

Hard to tell for sure, but I don't think that bar gives near enough coverage for what I am talking about. My application, would be to push an abandoned car off the road to clear a travel path without damaging your front end. So looking more like this:

have you checked with a local rock buggy/go fast building fab shop. a good one can build you anything and look better than a lot of others out there

Couple of good 4x4 shops out here but nothing I am aware of that would do custom fabrication work like that. Will start looking into the option though.
