If you don't mind me asking, who manufactured the steel building? I've been looking to build a similar steel structure with a 4 car garage (2 car wide and 2 car deep) with an attached living area. Basically a large steel building where I could stick frame a living area inside.I looked at morton but they were priced like 3x the closest local steel builder.View attachment 2705
I have roughly 500 yard approach on the front of the building It’s drive-through. I’m thinking coming through at 40MPH I’ll should get some air, Not all 4 but the front two. Immediate break hard for left turn!!!
Sorry I just saw this, What you’re describing is very common in Texas. I will have a 20 x 15 x 10 room in this one. But as far as the building,I designed it which doesn’t mean much. I wanted a particular pitch in the roof to match house. So it’s custom built, You won’t find that in a kit building. Depending on your type of soil, And grade were you planning to build is where it can get pricey. Referring to your foundation and concrete. shop around, And get referrals. Awesome. My area is pricy and I will shop around for concrete and foundation. My area has a lot of old homes so I could buy a traditional 30-40 year old home or build something with a bigger garage and modest living space for the same price and it would work more for me. Thanks for the tips.
